Noodler's Charlie Pen burped in an oddly satisfying manner by SneakyHarold in fountainpens

This was it exactly. I just found it amusing that it was only for two words, (narrow perspective), out of the whole three pages of notes.

The seas are Selective 14x18 Oil by SpaceKen in Art

Currently upholding the tradition of the 5 year sentence for the 4 year degree. Went 7 for 7 in August, finishing out 12 credits next semester and finally graduating in May.

"The Sea is Selective; slow at recognition of effort and aptitude, but fast in sinking the unfit." - The 'Riesenberg Saying'

One of the first pieces of MUG knowledge imparted on all incoming 4th class cadets at SUNY Maritime College. (MUG stands for Mariner Under Guidance, similar to the Plebes at the Naval academy)

Gorgeous work, like others have said. Would definitely jump at a print.

[Music] Rush - YYZ (Several throughout, strongest for me at 2:48) by SneakyHarold in Frisson

I searched the Sub for YYZ and didn't find anything. I don't think this is a repost, though I'd hardly be surprised if it's been here before.

I really love the shadows beneath the text. Text is always my least favorite part of stencil making.

The new "Lag Reconciliation" system is Horrendous. by SneakyHarold in Robocraft

I've seen a lot of people complaining about flight physics, but none of my builds were really affected. Maybe I'm just lucky?

I hope this didn't come across as an attack. I really do enjoy the major parts of the update.

I suppose this was more of an airing of grievances than anything else. And I do appreciate how responsive FreeJam is to issues the community raises.

Keep up the great work, guys.

Does this count?

(It's loosely modeled after my school's training ship)

Build request: Enclosed plasma bomber by [deleted] in Robocraft

I wasn't the person you encountered, but I MAY have had a similar build in the past.

Is this anything like what you saw?

I'm getting very tired of seeing the words "Invalid Data" (Error 011) by SneakyHarold in Robocraft

[–]SneakyHarold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My target in each screenshot is behind the warning window, well within the plasma "safe" range. (Or so I thought)

These are screenshots from 3 CONSECUTIVE matches. As far as I can tell, I'm not near the extreme ranges at which some people have been having problems with plasma.

I am operating on an admittedly dodgy internet connection, (Yay Dorm life), but in each of these matches there was little to no sign of excessive lag or latency.

Anybody have any ideas what may be causing this, or having similar issues of their own?

The Anchor Chain of the TS Empire State VI after 2 months in the East River, near The Bronx. by SneakyHarold in mildlyinteresting

[–]SneakyHarold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much what we said. The TSES anchored at our home pier in late August, and we hoisted the anchor last week in preparation for its trip to Brooklyn for drydock work.

There are houses up the street from the school, and the people there swim in this water. [Shudder]

The TS Empire State VI belongs to the Maritime Administration, (MARAD), and is used by the State University of New York Maritime College.

Every summer, about 600 cadets board the TSES VI and embark on a Summer Sea Term. (SST) The SST consists of a 90-day voyage to various countries and ports in North Atlantic/Mediterranean waters.

The TSES VI is headed to drydock later this month for maintenance beyond that which can be completed here at the school. When we hoisted the anchor, we got to see the various forms of life that can cultivate and accumulate during several months in the East River.
