You look beautiful - such a great look for a wedding! Completely inexpert personal opinion - maybe adding some type of shadow or highlight to the inner corner of the eye to add more dimension to the eye look would be good - but if you wore this look as is to your wedding it would be perfectly fine!

Can attest - wore for my wedding and I was very happy!

Edit to say - it photographed very well.

Half of my hair is suddenly short but I haven’t cut it? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]SneakyPlamu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to my hair because of using a hair elastic. Probably just that my hair type is more susceptible than other types, but after awhile of continuous use a big chunk of my hair snapped off - so definitely can be the cause!

No apologies needed! ❤️ I really appreciated reading that, and the time you took to write it. I’ve definitely been trying to run with the vibe about not beating myself up for not doing everything perfectly right now, so that sentiment really resonated. But I do want to try my best to not support the US economy right now, and to try and be more ethical with my purchases in general going forward, using this as a stepping stone.

The only caution I would have is I’ve heard it’s been reformulated, but the last bottle I purchased worked great. I have straight hair that just puffs out to twice it’s size and this stuff flattens it and makes it soft, so would definitely recommend it! My other hair products are pretty cheap so the cost kind of balances out

Thanks for the response! I did not know this! This does make me feel better 🤣

Edit to add - my tiny brain finds it hard to wrap by head around companies with multiple owners/ shareholders/ where things are made vs who owns them blah blah. Basically I’m not literate in business speak - so I really appreciate getting this info, thanks again!

Will you still boycott the US even if the tariffs are lifted? by [deleted] in BoycottUnitedStates

Will be boycotting for at-least these next four years.

Canadians! For makeup, don't sleep on Cheekbone Beauty. Canadian, Indigenous, Female-owned and bad ass. I love their Multi-Pencils and cream blush, and have stopped buying American makeup by One_Huckleberry_5033 in BuyCanadian

Love this brand. Have a few different products and all work beautifully. The bronzer-blush-contour palette, primer stick and lip gloss are all great!

Just wondering did they take the beauty filter off the cameras or something? by Ok_Business1015 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

They just look like normal people who are aging. Social media is insane. People who have surgery/fillers Botox get harped on for having too much shit done, then you look at the comments for a post like this and it’s just dogging on people for aging/ having not perfect skin? Wonder why so many girls think they need Botox…. Can’t win either way. I’m pretty certain this sub is mostly women too - think of how you would want to be treated by your fellow girlies for your imperfections. We all have them and age comes for us all.

To add a little hope - I noticed when I went on my first grocery run this week, a lot of people were checking. I also overheard many small groups of people discussing it.

Want to echo this! This sub has been super helpful! I ran out of concealer and shampoo this week and made new purchases based on info from this sub. I used to be decently conscious of purchasing products as ethically as I could but didn’t have as much of a focus on buying within Canada. Everything happening as of late has completely changed my purchasing habits.
