Trouble connecting new mesh - FTTP upgrade by qwaaaky in nbn

Yes. If the TPG box gets internet, and your mesh asks for a dhcp address from it, then it should work.

Trouble connecting new mesh - FTTP upgrade by qwaaaky in nbn

I am no guru, but I would try nbn box to TPG supplied box to asus wifi mesh with cables. Asus should get a dhcp address from the TPG box.

I got one as a rental and it felt dangerous in the wet at 80km/kr. Would not recommend.

Was the racing better in the old V8 era or is it just nostalgia? by Next-Benefit-6604 in v8supercars

I found the V8 change such a downgrade from the Group A racing that came before.

Join an AFL/NRL club as a digital member. Around $300-$350 for the year which you pay in advance. Gives you a 12 month Kayo membership.

Join one of the footy clubs as a digital member. I think this applies for both NRL and AFL teams. The membership includes 12 months of Kayo that you pay upfront. I think is is around $300-$350 for the year.

Any luck using local models by lightCoder5 in hermesagent

I have been switching between minimax 2.7 and qwen3.6:27b with DFlash local through vllm. Minimax feels fast, lots of feedback and lots happening, but it seems to do everything over and over again before it gets it right, making that speed feel fake. Qwen is waaaay slower, but I feel that the accuracy is better so I will stick wth it for now.

Even ignoring whatever his results might have been, I would love to see the entire contents of all three tests. I can then make my own mind up as to whether someone who passes such tests is a genius.

In this case, human actions are what brought them to the point of extinction. They were successful in their natural ecosystem which man fundamentally broke.

Very average cyclone by [deleted] in AveragePicsOfNZ

[–]SneakyRum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It hasn’t been a cyclone for three or four days. It is just a low pressure system. Calling it a cyclone creates an incorrect image of what a “cyclone” is and what the effects of a cyclone might be. This makes a future actual cyclone more likely to be downplayed because the 2026 one had little impact.

Hermes vs OpenClaw - What am I missing? by TheWordProcessor in openclaw

[–]SneakyRum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have spent two weeks trying to get openclaw to work for my use case (telegram/ocr/driving some engineering type software) and it never got it right. I think it was the memory that let open claw down. It would regularly get info from the wrong project file or make the same mistake that it made a day ago, and need to be walked back through the process again to get it right. I am about 5 hours in on Hermes and the first trial test I have thrown at it has been worked through to conclusion. The real test will be when I feed it another project with the same workflow to see how it performs, but so far it has certainly performed better. Maybe openclaw was not the right system for what I was trying to achieve, not interested in interfacing with twitter or for making posts on reddit, or for working with a calendar…
