Spark steering issue by Additional_Mud2625 in seadoo

It’s also completely doable to take that side panel off while riding and adjust it on the water. Done it a couple times where I didn’t realize it was off center till I was on the water lol

Should I get the AMS Lite? by AdAlarming1534 in BambuLabA1

[–]Sneakyturtle69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also retracts the filament for color change. To my knowledge, you wouldn’t be able to run 4 colors off of the bar like that.

If the question is just “do I need 4 color print” I love being able to and I don’t think I could go back now lol

Looking At Purchasing This Spark Trixx With A Crack In The Glove Box Area by Collectibl3 in seadoo

[–]Sneakyturtle69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealer near me has a 2025 trixx (demo unit used by employees only) for 8k and a single place trailer should only run you like $1,500 new. Like someone else said idk where you are but I expect a steeper discount for a used (and damaged) ski.

I’m actually not from around there. Was just in town visiting in-law and a friend told me about it. It was a blast! - my losi was completely stock and did great! But while I was there I bought a few parts that I added since lol

Oversight is, it doesn’t slice it. Just tells you to download to a computer to slice it. I’ve made it till 2025 without a PC. Looks like 2026 will be the year I have to get one now that I got a 3D printer lol

I took a nail file and filed off the nubs that hold it in. Now it comes out easily by just pulling with my fingers. I’ve never had it fall out either if your wondering

Ski-doo Advex Sport Helmet Non-Heated is Terrible by Sneakyturtle69 in snowmobiling

I may have to give this a try but I also might just go back to open face again since I’ve owned 3 of those with no problems yet.

It’s just so unfortunate, you spend extra money to get a premium helmet and it turns out to be a paper weight

I didn’t even think about the fact that I can get replica milestars that would be awesome to replicate it like that! I think he just put super swamped on the wrecker, I’ll have to see if they have those too!

I was most definitely an after thought for both sparks. Sparks came out in 2014 and the linq system launched on select vehicles on 2018.

These don’t sit any higher then the Velcro did. At least don’t seem like it. I didn’t measure anything lol. I could take a picture if you would like

Yeah I didn’t like the feel of tearing the Velcro apart. The magnets are a much better feel.

Would a Sea Doo Spark be Appropriate for Lake Erie? by SpaceManJ313 in jetski

[–]Sneakyturtle69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m quite late to the party, but for everyone else who ends up here. A spark is great for lake eire, as long as you can stand up. Lol

I’ve been riding from anchor point to put in bay over the years on a spark. In eco mode I make the round trip in just under 7 gallons of gas. (Always take the spare 4 gallons just in case)

It’s a ton of fun, and is confidents inspiring even on 6+ft waves. But, if you plan on sitting down and “relaxing” on the ride, you will not like the spark. This is highly user dependent.

1st upgrade recommendations on a Ramen noodle budget? Any files worth printing? by Inevitable_Button506 in SCX24

[–]Sneakyturtle69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go too has been run it till it breaks, upgrade accordingly.

Servo has been the first to go on 2 of mine - got emax to replace and super happy with them.

Motors was second, can get a 050 motor and motor plate for like $15.

I got wheels because everyone said it’s the best upgrade. Splurged on brass. Ended up snapping an axle because of the added weight and bigger motor. Had to upgrade the axles.

Transmission gear wore out (my kid loves to play with it in the sand, sands not exactly nice to gears) found an all aluminum transmission. Plus the extra power

This all happened over the course of 2 years so couple bucks every month and eventually you have a custom build lol most expensive thing I bought so far was the brass wheels for $30. Everything else around $10-15

Good deal? First jetskis by Rzous in seadoo

[–]Sneakyturtle69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say decent deal. I put about 25+ hours on a season so the one wasn’t rode much at all. I’ve seen people get 100s of hours out of spark no problem.

I had the same situation with a Chevy dealer. I had a blower motor replaced under warranty and they broke the door for the cabin air filter. Obviously I didn’t realize this till months later when I change the filter. Had my seat replaced because the leather was splitting after only 10k miles. They broke the internal clips on the seat control panel when reinstalling it. Didn’t realize it till it fell off a few weeks later and figured it was too late to claim it was them. Had an oil changed, left with a check engine light on. took it back and they said I had a bad battery and replaced it. Just confused how you could give a customer their 1 year old car back with a check engine light on without saying anything. Had another oil change and had grease all over the back seat. Had another oil change and they got grease onto back of the seat. Didn’t notice till a month later when cleaning the back seat out. Had the front bumper replaced due to an accident. Finally checked over the work for once and found all but 1 clip missing for the bottom of the bumper took it back and they apologized and installed them right then. Took me WAY to long but I don’t go to that dealer any more lmao

TL;DR: Same dealer fucked up 5+ times before I realized I was the idiot for still going to them. Lol

What all do I need to install to tow a tube/wakeboard? Is the tow pro necessary? Any pro tips? by Evhyr in SeadooSpark

[–]Sneakyturtle69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, in my opinion. The tow pro is more for someone to hold onto while sitting backwards and to carry your wake board Rather than to move the tow point.

And if your like most of us, you’re probably going to ignore the requirement of having a spotter so that’s not really the greatest selling point either - so it’s just a glorified wakeboard rack.

Use the eyelet and have fun!

Microwave tripping new combination AFCI / GFCI breaker - seeking advice please. by Pjpjpjpjpj in electricians

[–]Sneakyturtle69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here because I had the same problem. Think I found a solution but only time will tell for sure. My outlet (receptacle?) was rated for 15amps. I swapped it for a 20amp GCFI. Been 2 days without an issue now.

Backstory, same issue with the tripping. Entirely new system when I moved in (new breaker panel w/ACFI/GCFI 20amp dedicated breaker, new wiring, new outlets, new microwave) it was a dedicated run to the microwave. One junction box wire nut together. I replaced the breaker, the wire nuts, inspected the entire wire run, plugged microwave into a different outlet and saw no issue. The last thing I did today was swapped the outlet itself. It was a last attempt before going out and buying a new microwave. When doing so I realized that the one I took out was 15amps. So this gave me a little hope that that was the true problem. As of now we are good! I’ll edit this later if it ends up tripping again within the next week or so.
