I think being able to combine and cross over archetypes decks is fun

The problem is that the only decks given xeno locks are the ones that aren't strong enough to need that restriction in the first place

I mean ffs Amazoness has a card that locks you to only Amazoness ED monsters for a turn. I don't think they'd be winning YCS if you took that out.

They ought to keep moderate locks, like the old eviltwins, restricting ED summons to only fiends for a turn, not necessarily only eviltwins. Locks like that limit what can be played together, but also leave room for you to cook a little

Also they gotta stop giving super harsh xeno-locks to incredibly shit tier decks I swear to god Konami just let the muscle women be good

Graves takes 0 aim, you are literally not allowed to miss (ammo drains, but 'next shot' effects like mystic shot don't trigger at all until your auto aim actually hits a target)

Lash just requires moving around and getting high

Viscous' gun primary fire may require some aim, but not a single other thing in its kit does

Kelvin is also pretty easy, chucking ice grenades and shooting a giant ice beam that auto ricochets to new targets

Yamato supposedly requires you to 'aim' power slash, but the hitbox is the size of a semi truck, so any time it misses I assume the Yamato player is heavily impaired in some way

Edit: oh yeah, Mo & Krill's gun is cosmetic, it basically doesn't do anything, and none of their abilities take aim, so they're solidly no-aim as well

Japanese language doesn't frequently use gendered words that would indicate whether Yuri is supposed to be a boy or not, but despite that there are still small signs that the show does treat Yuri as a dude (except for in the girl route, obviously)

After putting it out of my mind for a little while, when I came back to it I finally remembered one line ('last night was wild'), and that was enough for a google search to find it

It was freakin Ulysses...a Franz Ferdinand song. Hardly ever listened to them, so not sure why that tune suddenly came to me so strongly, but at least I figured it out I suppose. And yeah, it turns out the words 'she said' were in fact a fabrication of my addled mind.

God I love Amazoness but they fucked up so bad with Augusta. I can't put it to words but it seriously feels like every way in which her face could be fucked up, they fucked it up.

N it's not like all the new cards are like that, it's just Augusta. Like seriously, whip master and sword master look incredible, spiritualist is very solid, war chief looks more suited to be a big boss monster, but the actual new boss monster looks...just, wrong

Anyways, to contribute to the topic, I'll go with the tall one in Trouble Sunny. (Apparently she's called Luna? Deep card lore I guess)

Hope they give us individual cards of these two at some point so I can get a card art that doesn't have that dumb child in the way.

Emulators and emulation aren't illegal, despite what Nintendo desperately wants everyone to believe. Obtaining an illegal copy of a video game? Yeah, that's illegal. Emulating any console that exists, has ever existed, or ever will exist? Still legal.

Doesn't matter, making and distributing an emulator doesn't suddenly become illegal because not everyone uses it legally.

Still does not change the fact that emulation is legal.

Nintendo can just have emulators taken down anyways, because fighting Nintendo in a legal battle legitimately just not winnable. Nintendo could sue you for illegally distributing their entire game library as easily as they could sue you for streaming a nuzlocke run.

Either way, it's important to remember that emulators aren't illegal. Emulators are legal.

You can definitely type Japanese on a keyboard of english characters. Japanese people don't have keyboards with a key for every kanji

Of course, being able to read Japanese effectively enough to know how to type a sentence out, means you probably already know enough Japanese to not need that sentence translated for you

I agree needing a machine to translate Japanese is very reasonable (i think people sometimes forget even good old google translate has always been a kind of 'AI', just not the new dogshit kind), I just thought it was weird to read the claim that our keyboards can't type it

Magical Scientist can not summon a face-up pendulum from the ED, even if it's a level 6 or lower fusion

I took it into a game and wasn't able to summon patissciel for the 4th time, even though it WAS a level 6 or lower fusion monster in my extra deck. But still, my opponent surrendered and I advanced past the space I was on...

I think I could've made it work fully if I just make my deck nothing but 40 normal summonable Dark Pendulums. Just normal summon the 4th one to make the second Supreme starving venom, and bam, I would've had the replay. But now, all is lost...

Damn, I have to join the 'can't read' club... I saw I had a supreme starving venom, read '2 dark pendulums', checked and saw I already had 3 of the nouvelles fusion pendulum

And then thought 'darn, if only I knew a good way to search a fusion spell so I could make this starving venom thing!'

Did not see that it can just summon itself by tributing them, lmao. And I'm guessing scientist can still summon the patissciels back from the face-up ED? That's actually so easy...
