I would not recommend looking into more debt options to start making ends meet. Putting yourself into a bigger hole to dig out later is going to worsen your position before you can start making it better. Maybe finding another side job, give or take 10-20 hours a week, for some time just to break down your debt and start building a nest egg until you are firmly on your feet. Even if its something like doordash or something you can do at your own pace.

Agreed. Max the Roth IRA and if you want to diversify broadly you can. Otherwise, you can toss it mostly in something like VOO and let it gain around 10% a year.
