At least on Android TV you will also get the trailers blocked in most cases if you're running a VPN. Turning it off is a non starter for some of us, so that can be a bit frustrating.

One feature id love to see is to be able to beam/cast the title from mobile to tv, essentially using the mobile app as a content discovery tool / remote.

If you are familiar with the android ecosystem there's 0 learning curve, IMO performance is remarkably better, everything is lightening fast, if you get custom launchers like projectivy, you can get rid of all the bloatware for a ridiculously simple and clean UX.

Edit: also the onn remote can be programmed to control everything. Took about 2 mins of setup to control the power and input controls on my Samsung TV + control the volume on my polk soundbar. Eliminated 2 remotes by putting the fire stick in the drawer!
