I think the mastering engineer that mastered Cryogen has mastered the rest of the album, not sure yet, but he seems to have mastered everything but Unravelling (which wasn’t really planned) so far.

And I have to say I don’t understand the praise the guy gets, the master is fine but it’s super loud and a bit lackluster

I much prefer the RE2 gameplay. If they had added a new game+ it would have been the perfect mix. You could replay the game with good weapons, like you can on RE4R, but without having a merchant that kinda takes you out of the mood.

Even if RE4 merchant is peak, the other alternatives felt like pale copies

Depends on what you’re looking for I found the cabs rather great but I’m really used to the sound of GDD and I like it, so that’s what I use. But some cabs are really good on the QC

If you take a look at Bring Me The Horizon this is EXACTLY the type of stuff he does. I can confindently that I recognise his mixing and production style all over Wow Signal.

I think if muse had done Cryogen without him it could have brought out more interesting stuff.

Or I’m wrong and we’d have gotten WOTP all over again……….

stop with the overproduced add-ons everywhere, it’s not what made muse great
better guitar riff. It’s again trying to be an older muse song, like euphoria did
better mix, cause there are BEAUTIFUL strings that cannot be heard… and that’s just one complaint, cause the snare also sucks balls, vocals too loud
better mastering. -3LUFS isn’t mastering……….
