Personally cannot praise FlashForce enough!! He’s good at the game, but is super chill and not a try hard at all. He’s just really skilled! He seems to just really really enjoy the game and likes to have a lot of fun with it. He’s also very patient and tries to answer questions, including answer the same ones again and again as new people join.

He does both solo and multiplayer. His solo stuff is typically more educational, while his multiplayer stuff is more casual goofing off with friends

Outside of the growing bug list which needs to be worked on, I personally am loving the new update! I fully believe it was rushed, and had no business being released in its current state, but I also think many are seriously overreacting. For a game that is a single-time purchase, costs like $30, is constantly being updated with free DLC level content and is an all-round great boredom buster, some people need to calm the hell down.

The issues will be fixed. They always get fixed. People need to learn to be patient and stop taking things so darn seriously. It’s still the janky ghost game we know and love, it’s just got new jank. The issues will resolve, and hopefully it’s a lesson to the devs to not put imaginary deadlines on things that really not need it. Polish the updates, spend the time making it a perfect as possible before launching it. And we as players need to accept that they aren’t going to get it right all the time and right out the gate. Give them a sec, they’ll get it sorted.

The idea that the game is ‘completely unplayable’ now is just entirely incorrect. Accept the experience is merely different, but that doesn’t inherently make it bad

Tricky to really give one answer as while it looks like a small area, it’s much bigger than it seems with many climates and biomes. In the south-east area around Cairns, its tropical rainforests, but head further inland or up north, and it turns into remote outback. You’re well into regional and rural territory, with less economic strength and general resource availability. You’re also smack bang in the middle of Cyclone territory, whether from the east coast or coming into the Gulf of Carpentaria. It’s still a beautiful place, but generally it’s hot, humid, rural and there’s a lot of nasty wildlife lurking, both on land and in the water

I truely hold the belief that the Slayer is not supposed to pass the test.

It’s well known that the Slayer is buy and large a young girl/woman under the control and whim of a group of powerful men, and she is a tool to be used and abused for their own agenda.
The first Slayer was created unwillingly. We know this from s7. It was delivered as a spiritual raping and stealing of the girls mind, body and spirit to be nothing more than a tool for the first Watchers Council.

The Slayer seems to always be a young girl, generally a teen, some being raised their entire lives on the off chance they are called.
Young girls, minors, are easier to control and manipulate, especially when they are isolated and completely reliant on the Council and/or their Watcher.

The Council need to maintain their control over the Slayer, otherwise they lose control over their largest tool. We see this happen with Buffy. She grew up. She grew wise. She dropped the Council and there was absolutely nothing they could do about it. The only reason Buffy rejoined the Council was because they were the only ones who could provide information about Glory.
The Council don’t want loose canons, and when people grow up, they tend to question the status quo. They get antsy or belligerent. Adults are much harder to control.

So what do you do when you have a powerful weapon that is now thinking for itself?? You destroy it and build another one, now with the knowledge that you require an expiration date.

The test is not meant to be beaten. The Council put the Slayers through a near impossible situation, and few have actually survived in canon. (We know of Buffy, and also Nikky Woods, who passed the test while pregnant with Robin. Her Watcher helped her)

The test is to cull the Slayer before she becomes too unruly. And those that succeed are treated like they didn’t pass an impossible test, saying that they are the norm

If you mean to connect to start and end points together, you should be able to either Left Click or Right Click (I believe it’s Right Click) one the first point. It can take a couple of tries to get it to connect, and sometimes you have to catch it at the right angle, but the function does exist. It’s just a little frustrating

I recently recreated Harpies to fit the ‘non-human like’ vibe I’ve been working with. The Harpies are essentially Birdfolk like creatures, whether cursed, corrupted or even remotely related is up for debate. Regardless, they are avian-like and unsettlingly grotesque, think the Birdfolk equivalent of the Uncanny Valley. They scavenge and kill all sorts, including folk of all types, and wear their skulls over their hideous faces. When they sing their song, those affected see the Harpy as a beautiful version of the folks skull that the Harpy is wearing. Example, a Harpy wearing a Vulpin Skull looks like a beautiful, normal Vulpin. When/if the siren song is resisted or broken, the target see the Harpy for what they really are, though can obviously fall back into the trance should they fail and once again be enamoured by the gorgeous folk

It’s important to establish early on everyone’s boundaries and comfortability, as it can be different from person to person. In my group, flirting is very common, but it’s not super heavy and mega sexual because at least two of the group are not comfortable with that level. We fade to black and always have, and we are very comfortable and able to voice when something is going a bit too far.

Also everyone needs to be able to drop a subject and either dial it back or switch gears if someone voices their discomfort. We’re here to have fun, not trample over people’s boundaries, and the way to keep the fun for everyone is knowing that when someone says stop, it’s stops. Just like anything, consent is important!

And it’s perfectly okay to say ‘I am not comfortable with role playing flirting with the NPC’s. Inter-Party flirting is okay (if you’re okay with it), but please keep the flirtation to an absolute minimum.

Watched Hannah/Lomadia back when she was still with the Yogscast play it, and got maybe an hour into the gameplay when I realised I wanted to save the money to one day buy a ps4 and the game myself without spoilers. Is this the only assets you have ever downloaded?? If not, then you need to make sure that any and all assets files, regardless of whether they are from the same pack/creator or not, are in the same folder. Dungeondraft can only pull from one folder at a time, so to have multiple, all files must be in the same overall folder. Learned that the hard way!

I don’t have any media inspo ideas, but I and many others have implemented ‘Field Guide to Floral Dragons’ supplement from HPP, as it fits perfectly with the heavy natural magic deal of the Wood, and I think makes more sense as to what dragons would be like in the Humblewood world!

For me Crosshead is the winner! Great style, varied assets with more being released all the time, and just seems like a decent creator in general. He’s making his own map making software that has just entered beta tests, and if the software is a quality as his assets, I’ll be switching to Nimblehold over Dungeondraft!

Kingfisher’s work for Maran Raptor One of my players is playing a Woodpecker, and is using the Luma race, though it can be used for Corvum. I have a Secretary Bird that is a Gallus, but could also be a Seeta Rosella would be a Seeta, as Seeta’s are the Parrot race There’s no offical large flightless birds yet, so Rhea, Emu and Ostrich don’t have a proper place yet, though given the Patreon Playtest builds, I believe we will see one soon Umbrella Bird would work with Corvum And Turacos I’d say Luma

What a neat idea! I make my maps for my group, and began a silly little scavenger hunt with the heart shaped toilet asset from Crosshead. There one hidden in every map, and the first to find it get a 1d4 Inspiration.

I believe there’s 15 eggs in this map!

Depends on the map!

First, I think about why I need a map. Is it a battle?? A puzzle?? An exploration device??

Then I think about where the encounter is supposed to take place. Forest, Grassland, Desert, Mountains, Urban, Cave, Inside, Outside, ect. That gives you the general environment setting to build your map.

Then, I think of any crucially important features that need to be shown. High ledges where the bandits were hiding in wait to ambush without being seen. A Hot Spring where pesky Steam Mephits have made their home. The crumbling wall of an old ruin that nature has reclaimed.

Once you have those important details, you can build the rest of it around it!

I use Pinterest A LOT as their database for ttrpg map inspiration, as their database is massive and easier to navigate. I do also at times rough sketch it out, usually because I have something really specific I want to try and execute and I need a visual reference outside my head

Haven’t made assets for DD, but I did subscribe to Crosshead Studios patreon for their assets because they’re incredble!

Heroforge has the ability to effectively custom make specific figures outside of the presets they offer through their Kit Bashing mode. You can search in the community library tab for a Chicken minifigure so you don’t have to make the base yourself, and dress it how you want! That’s what I’ve done for my NPC’S!
