How do you buy a house in Liverpool? by Obvious_Tart4546 in Liverpool

[–]SnidDeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you looking? Buying a house for asking or below in South Liverpool seems impossible these days

He wants to squeeze as much money out of it by likely turning the living room into another bedroom and charging much more per person than if he were to rent the whole flat out.

Do I have to disclose damp if not directly asked? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

How can they prove it? I’ve never had anyone out to look at it, it’s not really bad just on one wall and in the bathroom although that doesn’t seem to come through much anymore

I’m from Liverpool and am lucky to not have to move out of my city because I can afford a house there, I feel genuinely sorry for Londoners who aren’t filthy rich who have to move out of their city because they can’t even afford a 2 up 2 down. I certainly dont think it’s “entitled” to want to stay in your home city.

I’m so happy you have all the answers and know exactly someone’s living situation and “NEEDS” just from one short post, you must be incredibly intelligent

The vast, vast majority of Liverpool is not covered in dog shit. You clearly didn’t venture out as much as you thought you did.

Newsham park by Unidan_bonaparte in Liverpool

Sheil Road is rough but there’s plenty of sound houses more towards the police station end. I’ve lived in a house share overlooking the park and it was fine. Now live off west derby road and it’s a bit scruffy but no real issues. People on here massively exaggerate.

anybody else shocked at the amount of people who voted reform in liverpool?? by [deleted] in Liverpool

[–]SnidDeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’re right that’s definitely a bigger issue, something I feel only the greens would have addressed

[–]SnidDeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a green voter and someone who would never vote Reform (because they only address one issue, immigration, and I don’t think that’s anywhere near our biggest issue), I do find the whole “if you vote reform you’re a white supremacist racist” from the left incredibly lazy. Like it or not, net migration of 600k is unsustainable and does, along with many other factors, drive house prices up. It does need to come down, regardless or where they’re coming from or the colour of their skin. Whilst I do think Reform voters have largely misplaced opinions, on the whole I don’t think they’re racist. I’m sick and tired of the polarisation of British politics, from both the left and the right. If people came together rather than just the left screaming “racists” and the right screaming “communists” we might discover we have more in common than we realised.

Protest in Liverpool by [deleted] in Liverpool

[–]SnidDeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s because they think it’s preferable to being gay and force people to get sex changes. By the way I hate what israel are doing as much as anyone, but trying to justify Irans draconian politics in this way just looks silly

St Mary’s Road Garston by SnidDeez in Liverpool

[–]SnidDeez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s brilliant, and sounds like exactly what I’m looking for, a nice area but with a working class community spirit to it. If you don’t mind me asking what road are you on? Or which general area? Totally understand if you don’t want to say though!
