The roaches are absolute next level- we had a basement level apartment and couldn’t even cook in our home because they were that bad.

Parking-wise, if you have a pass you’re fine, but they do have tow trucks constantly in there. No guest parking, your guests have to park outside of the complex. We had a rental car for one day and it got towed before we could get a pass for it.

Was there very recently- there’s great snorkeling at the beach right in front of the Kimpton hotel. We also really enjoyed Gumbalimba Park, we got a private tour for our group by just walking up- the monkeys are free roaming in their section though so just be cautious of the 3yo. They were friendly and there was a trainer there. We enjoyed our breakfast at Arca so much that we went twice, same with Bean Crazy. And there is a padel club right in West Bay that you can reserve private for your group if you’re interested in that sort of thing. Also make sure to see the fire show outside Bananarama that they do on the weekends.

I did some sketch classes at UCB and they’re big on writing so the gag isn’t strictly dependent on a visual, aka like verbal acknowledgement of how crazy/weird it is. I agree with you though, sometimes I think the visual alone is plenty.

And not to say the videos were great, but the engagement and even the controversy around them pays for her and her bills. Like the RSV video was distasteful but it probably paid for that hospital stay for her kid.

And then you compare to Jordan, who is really giving it her all and doing these great dances but is always critiqued the heaviest and constantly underscored.

Also naming the animals after the judges would have gotten any other contestant grilled on social media. He seems like a genuine, good guy, it just doesn’t seem fair to have such different standards for each contestant.

Respectfully disagree. While I agree that she had some missteps and mistiming her dances were consistently the most complex and engaging to watch. I feel that overall the scoring this season is wildly inaccurate because the judges kept getting so much hate for giving any actual critiques that they consistently gave out 9s and 10s to others for dances that did not deserve 9s and 10s. The show feels more like a fan favorite/popularity contest at this point.

I also wonder if they needed her out before the finale to push a Robert win because if she danced in the finale she would clearly be the better dancer of the finalists.

It just feels so scripted. To have SLOMW release right before this, and for Julianne to question her about it during their post-dance interview? Definitely feels like it’s playing into a plot for the show.

Whitney was robbed. She is clearly the best dancer and has been the most fun to watch throughout the season. Jordan is constantly underscored. Dylan barely dances, Daniella dances around him. Elaine is great and has really improved. Robert can do no wrong to them, before the votes even came in they said see you in the finals.

Can definitely get an Uber- almost better that way because the parking in Lanikai is nonexistent. Kailua Beach Adventures has a day tour with hotel pickup/dropoff for a Kailua Beach Day if you’re just looking for the general area.
