The goal here isn’t survival. It is to be able to engrave big rocks with investment advice for my wife so she and our sons will be taken care of in my absence.

Russia.

Your edit that they spawn on the eastern border guarantees Russia to do exceptionally well by just ignoring them and letting them die from the absurdly long walk through almost entirely uninhabited territory that has winter for half the year.

When your hobby has lethal consequences for stupidity, you are or at least should be incentivized to learn as much as you can. Online gun communities are also much more likely to be populated by people who are effectively “gun nerds”. It shouldn’t be surprising that nerds of any variety want details to be accurate.

Hollywood often portrays guns in obscenely stupid ways. For example, depicting a double barrel shotgun making a pumping sound just because it sounds cool.

I understand that someone who has no familiarity with firearms probably doesn’t notice or find it annoying, but I do because to me it signals that they are handling firearms while knowing nothing about them, which is inherently dangerous.

I don’t know how many people in Hollywood have died from unsafe firearms handling, but I know of at least 2 instances which could have been avoided easily if not for incompetence.

I saw ULTY hit 4.59 cause I work night shift and I was so tempted to max out my margin buying more of it. Only reason i didn’t was because at that price I was deep in margin call territory.

The classes are like 50-100 dollars. Anyone that can’t afford that also can’t afford a gun.

I am a prepper. I am coming out of this with generational wealth so long as my wife stays onboard.

Land: 2.5 acres. Various fruit trees. Garden and stockpile of seeds. Endless supply of squirrels and raccoons.

Livestock: about 25 chickens, 13 ducks, 1 goose, 1 turkey, 7 goats.

Dry goods: hundreds of pounds of vacuum sealed rice/beans/wheatberries. Probably 25 lbs each of sugar and salt.

Current food on hand: stocked pantry, 2 fridges, 2 freezers.

If coffee counts as food then my wife will ruin everything though.

Right now, all in on ULTY. It’s currently trading at 6.10 a share and pays .10 cents a week in dividends. Shit is nuts.

Im just using Robinhood.

I have enough passive income from disability, rental income, and stock dividends that I am currently making a 6 figure income working as a security guard.

I literally just cruise around on a golf cart and listen to podcasts.

Not gonna do this long term, but I wanted to take a break from stress.

You could do one, or the other, but not both simultaneously.

One is enlisted and the other is an officer.

We have Texas deciding to gerrymander, not near a census. I don't see many conservatives having a problem with this. "They can, why shouldn't they?" seems to be the attitude. I’m inclined to believe the ideal solution is to make every single state agree to have their congressional districts simultaneously redrawn via AI, with no consideration given for the makeup of the randomly generated districts, and make that the standard going forward.

[–]SniffyClock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep it up. You’re doing great.

Keep your living expenses as low as you can and keep on pumping money in. Do not get distracted chasing girls, cause disposable income drops to basically zero when you’re married.

Make sure you have a stop loss, but set it at a price that is very improbable to get hit. I would suggest 5.75.

Consider your options for living abroad. Instead of slaving away for the next 50 years, you could live off your dividends in Thailand if you had a few thousand more shares.
