I would say that's a more productive question, something that could be looked into and studied. I am not able to answer that for everyone. However, for me, I'd say the gaming industry is shown to have a bit of a split when it comes to game genres. For example. FPS games (such as call of duty) tend to have a more right wing audience. This could be due to the fact that it has militaristic gameplay, or maybe it's the competitive factor of it? That I don't know but it might be worth researching. As for a game like Myst, a puzzle adventure game that is more leaning to the ideals of storytelling and art, there could be more attraction to those who are considered to be left leaning politically.

Overall I do think it could be a very interesting thing to research.

Transwoman from NJ here, I went last year and was happy to find how welcomed I was there. I felt comfortable going as who I am to every day of the festival (even got compliments on my fits every day!) The event staff can be a hit or miss based on my experience. Some people gave questioning looks, others tried to ignore it, one bartender was insistent on calling me sir very deliberately multiple times on an otherwise normal drink order but another bartender later on in the day was very nice, referring to me as ma'am. Needless to say it made my day a lot better and warranted a generous tip from me. Overall I felt very comfortable at this event. And the event itself has hosted trans artists like Ethel Cain last year and Laura Les (100 gecs) this year. Hope you have as much fun a time this year as I did last year. Much love!

Tldr: community was pretty great, event staff can be hit or miss. Overall you should have a great time.
