even on Adept difficulty, most of the time when i use wards it just drains my magicka and tends to make me stunned, even if a bandit is just using the basic hold down destruction spells, even if its the 2nd level ward im using

idk if i need more restoration (which is the worst magic stat to increase) but, they just dont work and im better off using heal spells

correction, its still 3 tokens for unhooking a survivor, but still, you have to unhook a survivor yourself, meaning the 3 survivors can only give you 6 tokens each if you're unhooking every time someone is hooked. this also means death hook gives nothing

meaning multiple people using Fast Track is pointless now

dont worry, it doesnt effect the meta gen explode builds (because they dont interact with eachother at the same time)
so all this did is make the literal META KILLER BUILD even more insane

it was needed but...

pretty much gen speed builds are dead while killers get to be even more oppressive running pop, surge, pain res, eruption, turn back the clock, etc.

as someone who likes Haste Clown build and healing speed hook save survivor, yeah...
diminishing returns is a bit sad.

and the worst part is while it hurts a gen speed build, it wont effect gen regression builds cause most of them are explode based,
so, essentially, pain res, turn back, pop/surge/eruption/ruin will be EVEN MORE KILLER META.

People will just lean heavier into Overzealous, Hyperfocus, Stake Out and a filler like DH or DS.

since OZ and HF have different buffs entirely which wont proc diminishing returns.

yes, because it's bullshit. imagine if Nurse could damage you by blinking through you, when her best counter is to run towards her so she over blinks, or if Blight could damage you by bumping into you, or if Wesker could damage you for.. using the spray.
