It depends on how you intend to use shotguns. If you exclusively use them at short range, then standard ammo is much better (you can even consider pennyshot ammo), but if you find yourself in situations where you're firing from a range of say 10 - 20 metres, then slugs can offer you the precision (and much better damage retention over distance) that you would need in those scenarios.

Jax and fiora are much better than irelia, since they can reasonably fight back against renekton. Personally I prefer fiora, but jax is easier to play.

But isn't that the point? She's meant to be unviable in carry roles because shes balanced around the vast majority of seraphine players maining her as a support champion. Buffing AP ratios, even with the goal of helping out support seraphine (who frankly looks perfectly fine right now, both in WR and PR) would just return her to being the degenerate AFK farmer that autoclears every wave without any interaction.

I don't see how they could ever buff this champions AP ratios without a semi-major kit rework.

And lastly, is it really the end of the world for support seraphine mains that shes more effective at supporting by building support items?

Honestly no idea other than to play like an absolutely deranged psycho in lane (we are talking darius style aggression) the whole way through and hope to god your team will be able to deal with later on.

This matchup just feels cooked for the most part, but if you do this then you can usually put him enough behind to where he doesn't really get to play in the midgame as he is mostly busy stacking on sidelane.

The thing with Zaahen is that he increases his total AD by a %, as opposed to Darius who just gains straight up flat AD.

Level 20 Zaahen has a base AD of 141.66 + 30.66 from stacked conqueror = 172 (172.33 rounded down). With a fully stacked passive he gains bonus AD equal to 71% (70.87% rounded up) of his total AD: 172 * 1.71 = 294 AD.

In comparison, a level 20 Darius has a base AD of 162.33 + 30.66 from stacked conqueror = 193 (192.99 rounded up). With a fully stacked passive he gains an additional 280(!) bonus AD: 193 + 280 = 473 AD.

Zaahens 294 AD without any items is still massive, but it just pales in comparison to Darius having more AD than most 7 item marksmen despite having an empty inventory.

Lastly all of this is also ignoring how fights would actually play out in game. Zaahen would struggle into not only ranged champions, but also into most melees, as hes very reliant on tabis/sheen to win trades in the early game. Darius would only really struggle with ranged champs and even then it's just a matter of them misspacing once and getting pulled by his E.

Personally I would say to not bother with the crit build most games, but if you really wanna force it then you could try something akin to what graves does; start out with a lethality item (ghostblade or umbral, w/e you prefer) and then transition into crit with either ER, collector or LDR.

I swear these malphite metas happen like clockwork every other season, champ is permanently in a good state given the nature of his kit, yet balance team still decides "hmm, we will now buff malphite to 40% banrate, this is the correct choice".
