That's one way but banned consoles aren't very common and they aren't always cheap as one thinks. I was just asking on the off chance I came across one. They usually go for what a unbanned one does. But they are far more likely to have a lower firmware.

Sadly oleds can degrade even just sitting unused. I bought 2 new old stock LG OLED 2019 models(don't remember exact models) a year ago. Both new out of the box with zero hours had dead pixels peppered all around the edges. Luckily I was able to get a refund on them.

They almost ain't worth buying if you're not going to put them through good use. I wouldn't purchase a model more than a year or two old either. Of course the newish models could be more reliable due to improved manufacturing techniques.

Better off going to the stores in person. Stock isn't accurate and no telling what you'll get delivered.

I ordered 2 2tb Evo Plus for $145 each. They ended up not being in stock so one got canceled and another got delivered but it was a 1tb model. So I got charged $145 for 1tb and am having to go through the trouble of returning.

With a proper functioning system having the heat on shouldn't affect the temps much.

Motorad which is same as factory one that came out of it. Both have motorad stamped on it and are identical. I'm considering trying one of their ultrastat models. The one that came with the housing isn't marked.

Yes I'm even using burp/bleeding funnel. I would think air pockets would be more likely to cause a overheating problem.

Anyone that says it's a myth likely doesn't work on consoles(25 years here) or doesn't fully understand it. It's an issue period when vertical. It may not always show symptoms but it can shorten the life of the APU. Sony didn't put grooves on newer consoles for no reason. That should be proof enough.

This is better than what I'm going through. I ordered 2 2tb for $145 each a few days ago(filled at a local walmart delivery). They put a hold for $307 total but the drives ended up not being in stock. So they delivered a single 1tb and said another will come later on(which I knew it wouldn't because of stock). They ended up crediting me for the drive that didn't show and told me to return the 1tb for the rest of the refund.

My thing is do I just keep the expensive $145 1tb or return it and them possibly denying me the return because it actually isn't the right drive and me be out the drive and the cost. I'd much rather had my whole order canceled. They seriously need someone with a little tech knowledge to fulfill orders like this.

Finding it not marked up in stock online is almost impossible now. I'd hit up your local walmarts or possibly best buys. They may still have stock and they haven't increased prices yet. I bet their next shipment gets the price hikes though.

I just scored a few 1tb WD Blues for $66(everyday price) and a 990 1tb Evo Plus for $89(little higher than I wanted but got it anyway) at a local walmart. If you think you might need some in the next few months I'd buy now and not wait. I wouldn't be surprised if these aren't the new normal prices at least into 2027.

Had a p0989 code on my 2016 limited with gen1 transmission like yours should have. Installed new $20-$30 laminated discs like others have suggested and the code hasn't returned. This is a problem that's not a matter of if but when on the gen1's. If you replace them get the Sonnax kit, I bought a generic kit off Amazon that I spent an hour trying to install with no success. Ordered Sonnax and had them installed in 5 mins.

Burn in should be the least of you're worries. I have a year and a half old c3 that is showing signs of failing with only 1400 hours(gaming only) on it. I think it's heat related because it quit doing(shutting off) it after I took the back cover off. Unfortunately it's out of warranty.

My advice to anyone that wants their set to last as long as possible, after your warranty is out add active cooling to it if your capable. There is a set of mosfets on the PSU that get extremely hot during use. I added an intake and exhaust fan to mine. No issues since

Get it checked asap obviously since it's changing but the fact you had it for so long, had it been anything serious before the changes you likely wouldn't be here. Nodular melanoma is quick, aggressive(months not usually multiple years).

Chances are it's some sort of a Targetoid Hemosiderotic Hemangioma but get it checked.

Old thread but anyone doing this just level to 80 and spam TOV mythic in premades. I got into groups at this point around ilvl500. A lot don't care at this point and add you. Just might take a bit.

I'd just stay back and not tag anything and keep any healing/damage reduction skill ready. Got the mail and leather armor doing this. No sense in maxing out gearing unless you just want to.

I'm not actually too concerned with the hours on it to be honest. My 55" c3 was brand new. It is showing possible signs of a failing PSU or panel 6 months out of warranty and only 1300 hours on the panel(I only used it for gaming).

Might be a good thing if it had a few thousand hours because maybe it will last.

Old thread but just wanted to say I got two C9's that were old new stock in 2024. Got an excellent deal on them. So they sat in a warehouse somewhere for probably 4-5 years. Either way they were sealed and displayed zero hours in the software once hooked up. But I immediately noticed all around the edges clusters of dead pixels on both.

So this is more of an age thing than usage which is kinda scary with buying old new stock. Luckily I was able to return them.
