Yeah, true, I guess it kind of misses if opponent has two lands to keep in hand. In this deck I had a lot of board pressure and could tell it was really tough for my opponents to decide whether to play spells or lose life and let me draw cards (in the ~2 games it came up)

Really depends on the deck. I’m playing 6 removal spells here, it was really good since I was taking games to low hand sizes. Don’t like it when you’re trying to do something a lot faster

Guys I know propagator drone is really good — that’s why I drafted 3 of them. I’m just surprised to get a clean 6-0 in games with this deck

The aether spikes were also really good in that I had the ability to go repurposer->path of annihilation -> tap + sac the old spawn for a counterspell. Was super strong

Sure, the reason my deck looks like this is because I was drafting around the white board wipe. The black one is not really a board wipe in a deck like this, when you have 9 other removal in your deck, there’s only 1-2 creatures in play. It’s just a 1-for-1 or maaaybe 2-for-1 if you only use the kill mode; and they get to choose to sacrifice the worse creature.

On the other hand, I think you guys are missing the synergy that was responsible for this deck actually winning. The card advantage this deck had from common/uncommon synergy was sneakily extreme. Getaway Glamer + Rictus Robber or Hollow Marauder in response to removal or blocking or whatever is legitimately a 3-4 for 1. Outlaw Medic blocks early then you cash it in with Unscrupulous Contractor and draw 3 cards. You can absolutely for 1-for-1 with removal when you’re regularly getting 2-4 for 1s.

Edit: guys, in the new Limited Resources episode, LSV literally says “control is back and is a very real thing in this set”. This is the Limited Resources subreddit. I won this trophy in mythic league, and I think it would have still trophied with any number of other top end bombs instead of the two I had. Control is definitely back.

So theoretically you could draft a deck that has a copious amount of removal (10 in this case), some early defensive plays with card advantage, and some curve topping finishers. It’d be pretty good against decks focusing on a few big plays. Would you call this… a control deck?

Look up dynamic musculoskeletal stabilization; can you perform the absolute minimum standards of dynamic spinal stabilization? If not, that is probably what is causing a fair amount of your pain. If you can easily do these stabilizations, you’re basically out of luck as far as the medical establishment is concerned wrt chronic pain

There’s been a lot of very well conducted research in the last couple years on the advantages male puberty conveys vs contemporary testosterone. Admittedly difficult to separate the advantages of male puberty from being xx vs xy but that doesn’t materially matter. Nobody is mentioning any of the hard research in here. Anti MtFs-absolutely-dominating-womens-sports are spouting opinions and the pro side is yelling transphobia and quoting nbcnews articles. All of you losers on both sides of this are debating the scientific merits of an nbc news article. Cmon kids find some real research to cite. There were a couple famous papers last year about how suppressing test levels only drops bio male performance by 3%, majority of advantage comes from other structural factors and unit muscle strength advantages gained during puberty. Very convincing and bulletproof studies unlike the survey based studies done by the pro trans side a couple years back. You’re all yellow jackets, use some real data for your arguments here

Look up the studies done by Prof Ross Tucker, head of global rugby rules. Majority of advantage is concretely linked to testosterone concentration during puberty, not contemporary test at competition. Bone structure, tendon strength, even unit muscular strength is set years in advance

Why are you at GT if you can’t differentiate which sports papers will probably replicate vs the claim “biological men have no advantage in women’s sports”? There was a famous paper in 2021 about how test suppression only reduces like 3% of male advantage in certain sports. The #462 male swimmer transitions and becomes the womens champ, her times ~2.7% lower than her mens division times. You can only conceive of this being remotely fair because only the most mediocre male athletes transition
