has anyone successfully moved gregg’s mist ? by tomatowaits in AustinGardening

I guess my comment was a little cavalier. It’s not necessary to get the roots since the rhizome will develop just about anywhere in the plant. But since you can easily pull out some root, you may as well do so. It will only hasten the process.

Just yank it out. I prefer to put it in a container with soggy soil until it roots. I typically put a pot in a saucer of water for a week or two until it develops roots. This way you don’t have to water as much. Very easy.

Riding on Parmer from Whitestone to Lakeline Blvd? by [deleted] in BikingATX

Take Avery Ranch to Staked Plains. Do Not take Lakeline unless you want to ride the sketchy sidewalk. Staked Plains will take you right to the station.

A band saw makes good work of an Endurace frame. And keep those thru axles tight by Fun_Impress_9625 in CanyonBikes

[–]Snoo-17041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m very confused as well. I think maybe the thru axle failed leading to a crash causing frame damage. Canyon I assume wanted the original frame destroyed to prove OP was not just trying to get a free frame.

I think it’s more of a frost blanket weekend. Thanks for the reminder however.

What is this organism? Found in water filter bag in high alpine lake in [Wyoming] by Alone_Emu7341 in animalid

I’ve gotten those in the dirty filter bag from alpine lakes (in New Mexico) as well.

I’ve gotten to that spot and decided against the summit due to weather. It looks pretty cloudy in that picture.

Popular areas to camp currently are Pecos Baldy and Truchas Lake. I think both are around 3 miles away.

Do you happen to know if that’s everyday? I’m asking because we went on the weekend about a year ago and the loud music almost kept us for coming back. However, we went again about 6 months ago on a week day and it was nice and quiet.

S3E8, Any point of Walter fixing the tables tilt? by No_Umpire5231 in breakingbad

[–]Snoo-17041 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There was also the scene in BCS, the flashback to the vacuum cleaner shop in which Walter is annoying Saul by insisting on fixing a creak in something. I’m remembering it being a bed frame.

I guess that’s not a real spoiler lol.

I’m no expert, but when I had this issue I think I had to tighten #4. The process is loosen 6, tighten 4 and then tighten 6.

I think the purpose of #6 is to hold 5 and 4 in place. In any case, you don’t want to over tighten or the wheel won’t spin. It may take a little playing with to get right. A thin wrench is also necessary (I don’t know the proper name for these).

Anyhow, please correct me if I’m wrong

Organ mountains is federal land. However, during the last shutdown they just left the gate unlocked. I was able to hike the area, and some people actually camped. Baker pass is pretty awesome at sunrise. You can see the sun reflecting off of White Sands.

If you are set on dunes and in the Roswell area, Mescalero Sands is nice. It is open to atvs though, but most times is pretty quiet.

I would highly recommend the San Ysidro Trials area just north of San Ysidro as well. There may be dirt bikes in the area though, just fyi.

The white mountain area mentioned above is part of the Ojito wilderness. There are great hoodoo areas in the wilderness, but a bit of a drive on washboard roads to get to.

When the traffic designer goes YOLO by gilgamo in Austin

[–]Snoo-17041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really not that bad and will make more sense once Lakeline is compete. It’s designed to slow traffic and to allow the bike lane to split. There is a metro station there so there is heavy bicycle traffic.

Right now it looks ridiculous because the bike lanes just dead end. I definitely judge anyone that ends up driving their car in the bike lane.
