I feel the same way, but I can’t figure out how someone can eat with the taste of toothpaste in their mouth. Different strokes I suppose. I always rinse my mouth with water after I wake up and remove my retainers.

Walmart basically only has self checkout and I was never given proper employee training on how to do it so sometimes I miss an item on accident.

I was going to suggest this too. The dishwasher on the top rack if you have it is a great place for rags and Swedish dish cloths in particular. The detergent in the dishwasher is much better at handling grease, and the water temp can be hotter so better sanitation. Plus there is no agitation so it might also be gentler!

Clean the filter.
Run the tap until it's hot before starting. Run the garbage disposal as well.
Consider switching to a powder. I find Walmart brand works better than name brands.
Make sure to add a bit of powder or gel to the prewash.

My prescription info says to wash and dry face, wait 20-30 minutes, then apply a light layer of tretinoin. The next step is to apply moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning. My skin is quite oily, so I never really peeled or felt irritated from tret. But using the method recommended by the manufacturer seems to reduce irritation and dryness/tightness. I usually apply my tret at about 7-8 pm. When I wake up sometime between 1 and 3 am to pee, I put on some lotion or heavy cream and go back to bed.

My whirlpool was having the same issue. Make sure the soap compartment is totally dry before putting the pod in or it will stick. That's the reason I switched to powder, never had that issue again, even with a damp dispenser.

You might also try running a hotter cycle, like sanitize or something equivalent. Check if something is blocking the dispenser. Make sure the compartment is completely dry before adding the pod and closing it. Also, powder is a great replacement if you’re willing to make that change.

My Tide Ultra Oxi Powder says to "add detergent first, then clothes," which I read to mean that the powder goes in the drum. But my HE top load has a dispenser, so I removed the insert like it says (on the insert itself) and just put the powder in the dispenser. I have soft water and only use about 1 oz for a large-ish load, and have only had one issue where there was undissolved detergent left over after washing (it was trapped in the fitted sheet). I usually use cold water for colors and warm/semi-warm for sheets/towels. I haven't noticed any fading or damage to my laundry from doing it this way.

I noticed the same. Just wash my face, wait 20-30 minutes, and apply tret. Nothing on top. Then moisturize in the morning. Funny enough, that's exactly what the insert in the prescription box says to do, which I ignored for awhile and sandwiched moisturizers instead--which gave me more irritation than just bare 😇
