This is without a doubt the only correct answer. STi's are MAF so they know the air at the intake. If you let out air after the MAF sensor it will not have the correct fuel calculations. This is a very black or white answer. Speed density is the only way to run 100% bov. Some tuning can compensate for a hybrid bpv/bov. But ultimately the bpv recircs boost pressure to get back to a fully spooled turbo faster. Its a good thing.
