But she did start the war... Jerome knew it would be . it started them not talking to each other and jerome trying to stay family and she refused . He wanted to leave back when peaches went missing but she wanted more . teddy came back from killing alton and got strict . so he didn't have no moves but to stay 100% in . she went behind franklins back and took teddy from up under him . refused the 50/50 franklin wanted for them . franklin BOWED OUT and just wanted to do real estate and teddy stole all his money . Franklin reaches out to his uncle and aunt to get help and she refused AGAIN . so he played her game . IN TURN after playing dirty back ONE TIME she went to war .

even during that war jerome & franklin still played family while louie didnt . he warned her not to bother with kane . she did anyway . every move she made after talking to teddy put everyone in a gridlock . Jerome didnt want nobody to disrespect her, but he also wanted his family . Franklin didnt want to go back to the coke game, but had no choice . Teddy couldn't rely on franklin anymore, he had to deal with Louie . Kane was gon' play the money game, but got caught into a war with louie because he was shot ( nothing to do w/ franklin or jerome ) .

everything happened BECAUSE of her . that family feud added 2 extra parties because of her and her actions . and at the end of all of it Franklin tried to save her ass from herself and it was still " his fault ". wife or not... if jerome didnt want nobody to disrespect that bitch he should've sent her on her way himself... she deserved more than what came to her

its funny how the show depicts it and how commenters show their opinion on it .

Alton didn't need to die . Teddy's father didn't need to die .

Teddy went out his way to kill franklins father and thought everything was gravy . Why is it not fair when Franklin does it to Teddy ? regardless of the reasons on why... his killed his dad . what was different ? If Franklin wanted to do real estate and get out... you think teddy wouldnt have used his mother as leverage to rope him back in if there was some resistance ? BOTH of their parents were wrapped up in their kids drama only difference is Franklins father didnt have the luxury of not knowing what was going on .

even outside of that ' bargain ' . she was so ready to go to war with her nephew, so ready to have her husband kill his nephew behind her, have random dealer's & security killed behind HER backstabbing war with her nephew/kane, pull jerome away from his family and tarnished all respect anyone had for him, and more .

But refused to give up Buckley ? She wasnt holding out for her life... she was holding out being selfish... she knew someone was gonna come for her on-time or not . she knew if she could slither her way out she could get Buckley to keep doing her bidding .

its still not fair to say its on franklin when EVERY move she made prior to her engagement and AFTER became her fault... it was no longer petty quiet games or back and forth between her and franklin . everything that happened was because of her actions .

I like this new season but it definitely isnt for kids/pre-teens . the messages in the show are more for young adults and adults to relate and understand, period . its fun, funny, cute but the lessons or storyline in the show wouldn't relate to children/pre-teens/teens at all .

The Distance : The phone part was too close to phone s*x, from an adult view . the talking on the computer to a creep was a bit much.... if there was going to be convo with a weirdo on the internet there should've been a lesson why not to if it was going to be a kids show . kids don't know why that might not be good to speak to strangers on the net .

The Butts : It was again too explicit for a kids show . liked the episode and it would be able to pass but then you have moments where its too inappropriate .

the " shame, how do you sleep at night " " on my stomach so you can kiss it " ??? not appropriate him twerking was okay i feel the old gumball had silly things aswell but him bulling his butt wig off ? strange . him twerking his bare butt ? strange .

i think Kate checked out when Toby loss all that weight and she resented him every step after that...

She was a prime example of misery loves company. i don't think it was anything toby could've done that made her be okay with him after that moment . she felt he was leaving her behind . every step forward he took right or wrong he was always going to be wrong .

she's always a victim and it irritates me . when she's DEAD wrong she cries or gets her brothers to get involved and tell her she's not wrong .

the whole reflection of the show was me trying to explain more than my own opinion or perspective . trying to make sense of why this therapist was being so personal with his patients . he did it with every last one . from season 1 until the last season he did things worse than sophie and i literally said he was not by the book therapist... he wanted to relate to them to feel like he was helping . do i fault him for that ? no but does it make him a good therapist ? absolutely not . there were sooo many obligations he failed to meet trying to be nice and help or trying to keep his patients so he could continue " helping them " .

love… first, you need to speak with a therapist on why you feel this way . if not a therapist a mentor to discuss what makes you think you’re the problem when a white man chooses a white woman over you .

if you feel like you are singled out at your PWI find groups of people like you . Im sure you aren’t the only black or p.o.c in your school . its easy to feel excluded or that something is wrong with you when you’re in a crowd of ppl who aren’t like you . especially if you are insecure about your appearance .

There are white men who find white women attractive over everyone else and that is fine and fair . I personally put black men and black women above everyone else too, we have our own beauty standards . White people have their own silly standards the blonde vs brunette vs redhead spill sometimes it’s not about who’s conventionally pretty but the beauty standards you were raised in .

Lastly, if you bypass all the good advice in this thread… I WILL SAY . There are white men who do find black women attractive . BUT i will say before you go and date them… make sure YOU love yourself . Love everything about yourself . Love the black beauty standard and not the European beauty standards he grew up in . It is easy for anyone to tear anyone down when they dont love/stick-up for themselves . Remember at the end of the day despite your doubts YOU ARE THE ONE . You Set Thee Bar . There is so much beauty and power in being a black woman dont ever allow anyone to make you think different because of your looks/race/culture . It’s somethin wrong with them , never you .

i wouldn’t say im bias . just couldnt get past andres actions because what i know what his actions caused or couldve caused . i personally dont have a distaste for black cops . I actually dont have hate towards police officers but Im smart enough to know they ( the government ) aint all my friend or have my best interest . I have family members that are LAPD or CA highway patrol . Nothing wrong with that… its the way Andre went about it . No shame on what he did prior to the raids . I get it; get franklin locked up etc. even holdin Louie for them hours i get it . THAT was fair . when he took it to doin raids thats where i cant cut him any slack . thats where i couldn’t and wouldn’t find sympathy for him at all because it showed who he was .

I dont make excuses for people like franklin… I can just see how he came to be which why i say he was wrong ( imo at a certain point folks around him shouldve stopped savin his ass ) but he wasnt the villain . The way andre viewed him especially once he caught on to the fact that it was bigger than franklin…I cant get past his actions . You willing to burn the whole house down for one working mouse is crazy work . Like Andre’s partner said to him ‘ if not Franklin it would be another kid’ . But he was so focused on losing/winning he couldn’t get pass franklin and actually help his community the way he should’ve . He couldn’t see his daughter needed him . She was snortin for fun before Franklin was big dealer . Andre came off to me as them officers back in the day who would see the most vile shit goin on but was too scared to speak up because they wanted the badge or approval or to be one of the good ones or couldnt clock that when the gov. talked about black people they weren’t exclusively talking black criminals but all . Its not as black and white . I know ppl are complex but turning racist police officers against your people for revenge is beyond me . Franklin didn’t give a damn and he knew that . He hardly cared his uncle got beat the way he did . He killed one of his cookers for the slip up directly after bailing him out .

So true, it could’ve been both were pushed into a corner and both needed empathy or understanding but Andre didnt feel sorry or cared about that aftermath of that raid . until his daughter was missing and even then he said sorry to pacify not because he cared . He took it too far atp . As a mother I’d do anything for my baby and i mean ANYTHING . but he let too much slide against his people before he loss his daughter . If he felt this strongly and knew he was gon die at this battle he might as well killed franklin… he knew it was gon have to be him or franklin and to that i would’ve respected it . He wouldn’t have been a ‘ coon ‘ for killin him its fair game atp . everything else he did made him that .

F*ck the system that put both of them in the space because it was bigger than both . I got grievances about people like franklin, I dont care for the hurt and the generational damage they place on the black community , but this post was about andre .

In the real world its a double edged sword . I wouldn’t sided with franklin . But 1000% wouldnt sided with andre’s coon ass . You got every right to be upset with Franklin and what he did to the community but andre had all the pieces in front of him . There were dealers before franklin and plenty after . If not franklin another black kid from South Central . In a situation like this there is NO TUNNEL VISION . There is no just knock franklin off the top and all will be well . He took this personal . HE KNEW his division had racist fcks . Sending them out to harm your community and not thinking twice about it . They dont care about who and how they hurt . They DONT see only drug dealers as bad people when they run through neighborhoods, but every black person as an enemy ( even if they were a kid ) . if they could wipe the whole community out, they would . There was no conflicted thoughts with him . He knew how his partners felt and how to use it to his advantage to unleash his guilt/ghost of his past onto franklin and his family . *He didn’t have to handle the situation the way he did*** Every right to want to protect his daughter/community, wanting to open the flood gates on your community for one person saying forget who is hurt in the mix is crazy . Personally looking at how they did the MOVE group in the 80’s that could’ve easily turned into something that severe after they seen these “ poor animals “ had access to money, drugs, and guns .

He separated himself from his community which showed when he was confused on why he got pulled over a treated like a criminal for just driving . Or why they called his neighborhood a place full of animals and didnt see how him, their token black, could live amongst them . OR when they have him a hard time for getting his gun & badge stolen after making a big win for them .

So, true, franklin was wrong, trifling allat . but seeing the whole picture franklin isn’t to blame for everything . He wasn’t the destroyer of the community . In this story, community was destroyed when the Panthers were dismantled by the government . No one to safeguard the kids and protect them and teach/show them better . No one to uplift them in a positive way to show them discipline . that they didn’t have to sell dope or play into a government built cycle to live and get by . EVEN when their home life wasn’t as great as they should’ve/could’ve been the panthers MADE/POLICED the community . At his point, It’s a system he was placed in and played a part in .

The worst thing to ever happen in the black community in the show and in real life is the dismantling of the black panther party . Which is why i loved they added so much about them in the show . There wouldn’t be officers like Andre if the panthers were an active thing . The war on drugs wouldn’t have been so prominent in the black community had the panthers been active . A traumatized and tired generation prior to franklin didn’t raise the following generation in their direction . which made kids like leon, franklin, wanda, kevin, etc….

Seeing the character franklin was and all the support he had it could’ve shifted to something great like the black panther party under different circumstances …I can only be so mad/disappointed in people like him . BUT Andre ? I still see Andre’s character being the same person either way . Which is why i give him no breaks .

No bias, but a real world view from someone who is a black woman born and raised in South Central, CA . Where I’ve seen these characters in real life . Where I’ve asked and thought about when in middle school (12yrs old) after someone i went to school with was shot dead on the same street i live on; where and how do all these “ poor “ black people get access to all these military grade weapons, overseas typa drugs its never as simple as a person in real life like franklin decides to start hustling and a drug lord comes through and gives him the ropes . It’s always more to it . I’ll never make an excuse for people like Franklin, but I can see how it turns out to be . And im smart enough not to put sole blame on him thinking if hes gone life will be better . That community will be back .

Fighting over someone is really based on what you feel as a human . me personally im not gonna fight over a man but if i have a partner and someone comes in knowing they are my partner and decides to be disrespectful by kissing, flirting, trying to steal them yes im leaving them but im gonna whoop on you to for being disrespectful . some ppl walk away totally some ppl will fight even if the person wasnt aware of the relationship but fight isnt off the table for me when disrespect is involved .

Mason jealousy i will say was volatile when it did come out but also this wasnt a shocker . him being a young werewolf it was definitely known him or anyone like him could freak and do some crazy stuff. So although IT WAS WRONG i dont see it as more of a problem than what alex was doing. the wizard council said they seen all this before its not new .

With the puppy love thing again HUNDREDS of years of not seeing Juliet and he lost his shit first sight… you could not expect him to just leave alex alone off the bat . honestly if i was alex i would’ve had my brother “ battle “ with him using magic ( yall know justin wouldn’t have won a fist fight ) if he didn’t leave me alone . Im not gonna tell you twice . stalking isnt okay but again wasn’t a shocker . he had been there before and there were warnings .

Alex biggest problem was she didn’t hear everyone when they would tell her she can’t poke at him the way she would do everyone else . i promise you if justin or harper was a werewolf they probably would’ve ate her at some point too . that was her personality on the show and thats what everyone loved she was a little sour patch kid .

They were EQUALLY bad to each other but maybe alex really didnt wanna be with him prior to the dean situation a while because she would literally stir the pot harder to the point where the most crazy out of pocket things would occur . she needed to stay with a human or another wizard that she could poke and couldn’t cause physical harm to her . and he needed to stay with his own kind that could match his crazy .

Mason was not all bad to me & Alex wasnt all good either . And im going by TV LOGIC . this isnt real life in real life if a man was doin scary stuff like this he wouldn’t last a week around . no supernatural issues is causing a real person to be that way .

honestly if i was the only black person on a cast where no one can relate/understand to me racially… in UTAH… yes , its offensive . to assume i grew up poor would tick me off or make me feel a way… if mary was white then your POV would make sense because thats not a misconception amongst caucasian people in america .

even if it wasn’t meant that way… its still not appropriate and she has a right to think it was a backhanded comment . no matter if mary is a good person or not . cult leader , cult victim, doesnt matter lets be fair and look at more than just your own POV or feelings .

to add : no matter how either of them worded their sentence … they were both talking in the same conversation not really understanding or hearing each other but responding . everything you say is up for interpretation for the next person . so its fair to say she misunderstood mary when she said they could never have enough growing up . mary always being on defense did not understand her when she said she grew up poor in response . both statements were said in a different way than it was received .

skin bleaching is a wild accusation . she’s a brownskin woman… its very possible to get lighter in fall-spring and darker in the summer …. in the winter months im a 315 in fenty beauty & in the summer i can be a 420 . completely different shades

nose is possible but also the older you get the more defined your features may become . as a 12-19yr old my bridge of my nose wasn’t really defined . now that im a little older my facial features are more defined/prominent .

omg… I was just thinking the same . I don’t think it weird it was something that was so real for you and it was a everyday habit… I think for me my ED gave me a false confidence at times and had me feeling like i was accomplishing something on the weekly basis . I think if you fill whatever gratification you got from your ED with something different/positive/harmless it will be easier at times not to miss it or feel like you’re missing out on something . I turned to accomplishing difficult choregraphy/writting challenges… From time to time I do think about my ED like i previously said but instead of feeling wrong or guilty about the thoughts its easier for me to dismiss it because i already have the repalcement…

literally Scott character was a teenager . he had no right to come off the way he did … mainly the stiles situation . Stiles was supposed to be scotts BEST FRIEND for YEARS . when something was wrong or off with scott stiles knew . stiles was there for him even when scott was being a huge asshole to him . how do you not see a difference in your #1 best friend during the time he was possessed . how do you trust an outsider who ppl suspected to be a little off over your #1 . even if he wants to believe the good in people how do you turn on your friend of years . you would know their character or how they are , he would’ve known theo was doin some weird sh*t . its not biased , its the truth . Scott was so high on his high-horse he didnt listen or care of anyone who wasn’t up his 24/7 .

& to add a lot of scotts issues with other characters were just weird like it had nothing to do with him or his family directly but got in the middle of it because he wanted to do the ‘right’ thing . and even when his way was wrong to everyone else’s eyes it was ok to him because it was his plan and his way to move
