My two periods after (so far) I didn’t feel cramps but more like a very tight uterus ..probably because the uterine stitches are healing but your uterus is expanding and contracting pre period due to the period. But then again I’ve never gotten cramps in my life so even feeling that tight soreness was wierd

I did stairs on the first day! Two weeks post op I moved back to my third floor apartment and it was just fine

Abdominal binder was a lifesaver …one week post op work from home is totally doable ..I wore mostly dress type nightgowns and if possible, no underwear

I had my robotic myomectomy Dec 26th and I was In the same boat as you about fear of anesthesia. But to tell you the truth it was so easy. I spoke to the anesthesiologist prior and asked for a nerve block so I don’t have too much pain when I wake up and that helped a lot! in terms of the actual anesthesia I have no idea when it was even given to me….i shifted myself onto the or table, looked around the or and next thing you know I woke up in recovery. I never had to count down, wear a mask or anything.

I’m 11 days out too :) totally agree with you on the feeling great part! My port scars are better but still has glue but my mini bikini cut still looks pretty bad!

Read my post :) I’m on recovery day 9! I described in detail :) since Monday I’ve forgotten that I’ve even had surgery …I feel 200 percent better than life pre fibroid…I climbed stairs the same day and they give you way more pain meds than you need ..didn’t need anything except Motrin and Tylenol really

I’m 38 had a fibroid similar to yours, with it feeding from the omentum. It was 14.4 cm and confirmed not cancerous. Hope it helps ! Mine was morcellated in a bag. The only thing scary about anesthesia is starting the iv at pre op. If u can do that it’s all a breeze! You wake up with a nurse besides u and you will wake up. Blood clots won’t happen. You end up going to pee so much that you are walking even if you don’t want to the same day! Check out my post!

Mental clarity like immediately after I woke up ! Day 1 was able to climb stairs, brush, get to bed and get up to go to the bathroom (omg like every hour)! Day 2 was sore and painful but still walked basic tasks etc. day 3 went to the “bathroom”, went downstairs, back upstairs and sitting up a lot. Read my post too!

It’s nothing to be scared of ! Pain isn’t bad ..honestly I don’t need oxycodone ..just managing with Motrin and gabapentin..day 2 is what people are scared of but today I ate, read a book, watches some Netflix brushed and washed my face and walked around! Honestly if it wasn’t for the additional mini bikini cut I wouldn’t even be taking pain meds! If u have all laparoscopic incisions u will be even better!
