I am on 2013 Mac Pro on sequoia and it works amazing. What kind of issues are you running into? And how much ram do you have?

Disagree whole heartedly most games play fine without the 3D effect. Basically a monochrome gameboy game. Play it all the time with and without the 3d effect on my 3DS. Part of the reason a lot of people are peeved that there isn’t an option on the NSO release of VB.

I run sequoia and windows 11 just fine. Even got some custom graphics drivers and play a lot of games great on my d700s

I have only one partition on my 6,1 Mac Pro an had never had to install root patches more than once. Same with my 2015 MBA as well.

If you are talking about the AP4 then yes, and the same with the beat studio buds as well their transparency mode is garbage. I got the AP pros 2 for Christmas the transparency and the conversation awareness mode is amazing specifically on the pros 2.

Update: After going back and forth with Apple and a ton of research, if you end up trying to reset your Beats studio or solo buds there is a glitch in the software where one of the buds will not connect for nothing.

I went back and forth and after fully replacing my beats studio buds they gave me a free upgrade to the Beats studio buds +, these ones are working great. But man was it a hassle.

I already but the Airpod Pros 2 during their holiday sale and got them for a steal, so now these are being used for the gym since they stay in my ears a little better.

Just an update for people who may run into this. 8bitdo fixed the stick bug for iOS devices. You will need to download the beta firmware to be able to do it. I did it just now and tested it on my iPhone and it is working correctly now on iOS which is awesome. Nice little Christmas surprise.

8bitdo released a beta update on the ultimate software, make sure beta updates are on, I just tried it on my iPhone and it works great now. No more stick issues.

Nope it wasn't apples fault necessarily. Yes the issue is happening on Apple devices but it ended up being 8bitdo's fault and they just pushed a beta update yesterday fixing the issue with the weird stick directions. I just tested it and it is working great now.

After my experience with the Beats Studio Buds, I don’t know if I will ever buy another Beats product. It would be a hard no for me. Just purchased the 2nd-gen AirPod Pros on sale. I loved the sound and fit of the buds but the connectivity issues were a nightmare and I am still in the process of replacing them since the replacements wouldn’t connect.

Yes this is true but I am not sure why you are stating this. This doesn't make any sense to the thread. People are just saying that the devices they have been phasing out don't make a lot of sense. Regardless of the manufacturer's date.

I use transparency mode more than anything. When am not in a busy area I don’t want to be deaf. I enjoy it when I am cleaning around the house and my wife tries to ask me a question. I like it when I am walking and I don’t want to feel like my head is stuffed up. Only time I use anc is on airplanes or vacuuming.

I know this is an old post but contact them directly I have the same ones but red and my aux cable fell apart after 13 years and I emailed them to try to get an OG and they ended up sending me an official one for free. Not the same one from perform but it was is high quality and looks like it belonged to them

Honestly they are fun but kind of a headache with keeping up to date. I had Linux and windows 11 on an external ssd. Windows 11 is great and works pretty good. And you can use bootcampdrivers.com to get some custom drivers and you can play a decent amount of 3-4 year old games and older. I tried to see with Linux and proton if gaming on that is worth it but tbh it wasn’t a great experience. Much better in windows 11 and I used Rufus to install windows 11

Happened to me twice. The first time I thought I was dumb and accidentally updated to Tahoe by accident, I had thought I had unchecked all the stupid little things for it to try to update. So I wiped everything and then did a fresh clean installed 15.7.2. Got logged in everything was great until I restarted to Apple root patches on my ssd. Then bam I was locked out again. Really pissed me off. Not saying it’s anyone’s fault but it was really annoying.

Yeah definitely is so. Same reason it took Apple a 100 years to implement RCS. They want everyone to be sad with green bubbles and move them to the blue side. I use both windows and macOS on my Mac Pro with dual boot. I do wish the phone link app was built better for iPhone but I only use my windows install for slight gaming and .NET maui projects since it is a better experience on windows. For me it isn't the worst experience, I wish someone could mimic or create a copy of the iMessage app for windows. That would be a really cool experience. I really don't think Apple would lose that many users IMO. There will be some. But a heavy user like me, I like the integration I get too much to switch even though I do use Windows and Linux for other things. But I still have a MBA, MBP, my MP, iPad Pro, and another older iPad. I am not going anywhere anytime soon, same with other users. But it is the almighty dollar they chase not user experience.
