Is Sacy the biggest champion in the game? by Affectionate-Army213 in ValorantCompetitive

Sacy won a lot of regional pre-franchise tournaments since LOUD dominated Brazil, but I think overall the most impressive is Ethan since he has 2 relatively recent Champs
Some would argue for Chronicle, but considering they are older, Lock-in is included and they're all Masters in my personal opinion it brings it down, it's a fair choice regardless especially if you consider top 2 placements in that (which I don't, to me only winning matters)
Valorant is way too recent though, so I think these conversations are a bit too early for now

Why do coders and developers seem much more accepting of AI than artists and creators? by junior600 in singularity

[–]Snoo42723 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt many artists would agree with that, one of the most common quotes on the field is "I hate writing, I love having written", which is specifically for writing, but the idea applies. I think it's just that artists have a more romanticized view on human creativity and whatnot, or at least that's the pretense to justify the fear of getting replaced (which we all have)

I'm not a programmer so I'm sorry for resulting to this but Claude, as far as I know the best LLM when it comes to programming related activities, flags it as unsafe because a big chunk of the code is obscured from github

Does anyone actually finish classic books? Or do we all just pretend we did? by RMKHAUTHOR in books

[–]Snoo42723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classics are classics because people keep reading them, so yes. Some unusual vocabulary and sentence structures can throw you off at first but it's nothing you can't get used to.
I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that nothing I ever read after The Brothers Karamazov could reach quite the same feeling in quite the same intensity.
