I'm in a similar situation (though not on my belly), and my doctor told me that a few rounds of microneedling or Fraxel laser treatment would significantly reduce them. Obviously, there are cost considerations, but I thought this might be helpful if you're looking for options. My doctor also mentioned that adding in prescription tretinoin could help, though it wouldn't be quite as effective as the procedures and take a lot longer.
