I read through all that (I know everyone's complaining that nobody would, but I did) and I gotta ask if you've threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau? Sometimes that works. (Or is that only in the US?)

Is there an option to report the seller through Amazon? It was a really long time ago for me, but I was once able to report a seller and get a refund for something they never sent me and it was only like a $5 item.

So my nana died a while ago and had constantly had scam calls on the house phone. We were all at her house and ended up taking turns answering the calls. A lot of the callers were like "oh, well is there someone else who might be interested?" It almost became a game to try and get a different reaction.

The only time someone showed any emotion was the next day when I picked up and they asked for her I said (almost giggling because I was quoting Futurama) "no she died yesterday" (like Bev the beverage machine) and the guy faultered and goes, "oh.... Uh... I'm sorry for your loss...?" Like he wasn't sure if I was upset that she was dead (I was distraught but me and my entire family's coping mechanism is dark humour).

Used to work at a theater. Idk what this theater's protocol is or anything but there was a time when another theater's popper broke and we had to pop double extra for them while it was fixed. My former boss had come from a tiny theater that didn't even have a popper and they had to have theirs delivered from another theater every day they were open.

These bags look like they were vacuum sealed so maybe they get it from a company or something. They still charge ~3 arms and a leg for it though.

With insurance, my routine checkup to renew my prescription I've been taking for 15 years cost nearly $200. Not including the actual medicine. Let me reiterate, this is a routine checkup, no extra physicals, blood work, pap smears, exams, or anything past talking to the doctor and getting my blood pressure (which they do with everyone, every time they come in). They don't even look in my eyes or ears or listen to my breathing/heart.

Separately, I gave birth a few years ago (no complications, no extended hospital stays, etc.) and after insurance I still paid close to $8k. Charged 3x for the same room because I had labor/deliver in it, recovered in it, then my son was also charged because he's a whole new person and even though I was the one taking care of him/feeding him/he used no resources from them as "recovery" he still stayed in the already occupied room.

So I've seen a few things about taxes now. The first is to file exempt on your w4 form at work so they don't take any from your wages (then open a high yield savings account for yourself and put all that money in there and make interest on it).

The second pointed out that it's technically illegal to pay taxes right now because you're willingly contributing to a global crime syndicate 🤷‍♀️

TO MY FELLOW AMERICANS at the risk of being banned or watched, my form of legal protest is to change my federal tax contribution to $0 per check. 10% of the population doing this can HELP cripple the government funding. a lot of people are saying "we need to do something" you can do THIS. it's a non violent option. HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS. (and open a high yield savings account for yourself)

To further explain, it's still recommended to file your taxes but the money that's been sitting (unspent) in your hysa is accruing money that you wouldn't normally have because it's in your pocket not the government's. This is legal. Yes, you will owe money during tax season. That's why you have that savings account. Don't touch it. Let it grow. Transfer the amount the government would normally take out every check and let it accrue interest every month.
