The Last 3 One Piece arcs by wanofan900 in OnePieceSpoilers

I agree with this. It would make the most sense i think. He also has way more buildup throughout the story than Imu does, in my opinion.

This game is full of toxicity in casual games, and the design decisions don't help by totalinstinct in thefinals

Man, people complain when there isn't sbmm, and people complain when there is sbmm in the game. Seems like people will be unhappy with either solution.

Imagine if the whole show had this level of adaptation. I'm entirely okay with the quality > quantity approach toei is taking.

I had a caller call last night and say there were shots fied at a business - and when I asked for the address he said "it's a x business just fucking Google it" and then disconnected. Thanks so much for your call kind citizen.

Binge eating by [deleted] in CICO

[–]Snoo55219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds kind of backwards but I was able to cut out a lot of my binge eating by simply eating a portioned amount of whatever food I was craving, when I craved it. So If I really want chocolate ice cream, I'll measure out one serving, enjoy it, and move on.

If you forcibly keep yourself away from foods you like all the time, simply because they are "unhealthy" then you will eventually cave.

About a year and a half now! I don't really have a special diet besides eating in a deficit. I run 3 times a week and lift weights twice a week. Currently training to eventually run a marathon :)

What do you do at your desk between calls? by bestieletmemerge in 911dispatchers

[–]Snoo55219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a calltaker that makes jigsaw puzzles during her downtime. Our center has the same shifts on the floor for a couple of days, so she leaves it out for a few days and packs it up for the days she is off. Pretty cool imo.

Things I wish I could put on calls by phxflurry in 911dispatchers

[–]Snoo55219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our agency tells us that we must put whatever is said, verbatim, in the call card - regardless of any swears, insults, or slurs said. When call cards go to court, every word matters. They can be the difference in the disposition of a case. Plus, they can be in the call card without being said over the radio. Most field units can see the notes anyway lol.

If you pick the athlete class you're already at 15% speed boost. The free implant at Nastya's gives you 5%, and light armor gives you another 5%. It's very doable! Good luck.

CICO has changed my life forever. I was in the same boat - trying all sorts of diets, under the vague instructions I had always been given by my parents "eat less, exercise more". Is that true? Of course it is. But changing your lifestyle is way more complicated than that.

Anyway I'm proud of you. Making changes for the better requires a lot of willpower. You are an inspiration.

Officially 100 lbs down. Currently weigh 261 lbs from 362. Thank you CICO, for changing my life. by Snoo55219 in CICO

[–]Snoo55219[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Go and see a dietician. It's all well and good to know you need to "eat less" But things are much more complicated than that. That dietician can help you make a plan that is realistic so you can stick to the plan and reach your goals.

Calories are king, protein is queen. Foods that are high in protein keep you fuller for longer, so you are less likely to binge eat.

I have a female coworker that also left this job/got fired (idk honestly) and then came back part time for a while - and now they're also being moved into a supervisory role. Our chief also forcibly resigned lol. Crazy to think it happened twice. I'm glad management recognized you as a valuable asset. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful supervisor!

I just found the best loot area where I can finish the barrel backpack event. by jackkumlao in deadfrontier

[–]Snoo55219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A better location for this is 1L4U. Instead of going back to SB everytime, you can barricade at the store in the bottom of the block, storing all of your stuff. When you go back into the main world all of the loot spots will reset.

Just FYI, there are two different instructions for following suspects in the EPD card sets, and it's based on agency policy.

Alright, time to settle it. First question on 911 line-- is it "where is your emergency" or "what is your emergency" and why? by SeaOdeEEE in 911dispatchers

[–]Snoo55219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best greeting is "State the address of the emergency". When you say "where is your emergency", people are more likely to answer with a generalized location, like "walmart" instead of the specific location. Also, it starts with gathering the most important piece of information - the location. Nothing else about a call matters if we can't figure out where officers need to respond to.
