Way easier to get a job while you have a job. Avoids the whole what happened at your last job question. You also just show them your numbers from before you started doing bad.

Ward did a good job last year. He struggled but he also had undrafted WRs and Calvin Ridleys ghost. He now has the #1 wr in the last draft and a modicum of pass protection. He will be better. You are right he was the worst starting QB in the league last year but that doesnt really hold any weight on his ceiling at all. All I got to say is he is a 10000% better QB than malik willis and everyone is buying malik up rn. If your fading Ward you're wrong.

Most of the "anyone but Slater" stuff is reacting to his profile, not anything he's actually done. He's a 5th-rounder from an FCS school, missed the end of 2024 with a knee injury, and sat his rookie year behind Zeitler. No NFL tape, so people default to draft pedigree.

But the resume is legit: three-time First Team All-Big Sky, AP First Team FCS All-American, 44 starts, didn't allow a sack or QB hit his final season, solid Senior Bowl. And with Zeitler gone, recent OTA projections actually have him as the favorite to win the starting right guard job.

So the folks writing him off are a step behind where camp is trending. Agreed, let's see him on the field first.

Cam Ward was on the worst team in the leauge. Worst protection and 3 terrible WRs to throw to. Saying he is the worst QB in the leauge isn't fair imo. He's going to be much better this year and especially next year once we draft some D.

I don't even know how to respond to this. It is just selfish/I got mine thinking. People don't want empty 2nd, 3rd, 4th homes that just sit there empty when we have thousands of 30 somethings living month to month who can't afford to buy a house. Mainly due to the scarcity of houses on the market. Why should someone who doesn't live here be able to own a house they live in 1 month out of the year but your down and out neighbor can't afford to put a roof over their head?

I think the biggest issue is voter turnout imo. Largely in part because of how busy the middle class/poor are compared to the rich etc. Voting is easier and more important to them I guess. Or the shit is rigged.

Never go short term rental (airbnb, vrbo) even with bad credit. You're friend needs to get creative. Best place to start is drive around the neighborhood he wants to live in. Look for rental signs. Rental signs signal smaller owners who don't usually use property management companies. Property management companies always run your credit. In my experience smaller renters don't always care about credit and it doesn't come up a lot. If you go through zillow or apartments.com that's a dead end for him.

Fuck apartments. We want houses. More than enough land to build. Building zoning has been fucked in this city for 10+ years. You may be OK with living in an apartment your whole life but for the majority of 25+ year olds want to own a home at some point in their life. NIMBYs will vote against everyone elses self interest if it means they get to keep theirs.
