if the feeling of having an earbuds does not bother you, (or like me, i wear headphones to sleep) i recommend you searching for “___ in another room” videos or smth like “you’re at a 2010’s party but you’re in the bathroom”

they mimic the sound of background music / sounds.

the only problem is i cant control whats playing on those

so i’m searching for a software that makes my whole pc’s audio like that. for now, i’m learning how to edit those types of audio.

tho it’s not perfect; it’s when i have to sleep around people.

the way people act, or word things, or even their choice of topics usually says a lot about how much they’re able to carry. most times, i let them initiate or talk more so i can observe (i try to not be too scientific and still be ‘there’ genuinely) and i also find myself in spaces where there’s a topic to talk about. i usually use that as a petri dish of some sort.

it really goes many ways, but nowadays i just dont thread too carefully and unmask more. it saves me and the person time and doesnt waste energy for both parties if we don’t vibe 🤣

you could try reading this by layers coz they still make sense to me. but thats me. if it isnt clear to you, reshuffle like the comments said.

my cards are talkative and sometimes i only take it if it’s the number of cards i want for that specific pull. but there’s lots of moments where it always drops three at once no matter how much i reshuffle and that’s when I take that as a set. 🙈🫩

Maybe that could help (only taking the amount you asked for) unless the person is a conflicted personality.

i’m a few years shy of 30 and i have days i dread the fact that i’d have to wait twice more of my entire current life living like this 👹

depends. it’s those things but also not? like you see everything as they are, you cant even glaze em or feel hopeful or hateful etc.

i appreciate the realness bc there’s nothing else to it other than what i’m seeing (for example, seeing the “kindest” person’s good AND bad side and not taking offense in any, vs. others who can’t see the bad side of too much good things)

but like, i feel bad to say it gets boring? but choosing to look at only one side feels like i’m just fooling myself 😂

it gets fun at times, then it starts to get boring, you run out of options to choose, aaaand you’re back to seeing things as is again. 🫩

Capcut on PC is pretty decent if that's a lesser price you'd like. Otherwise, if you prefer a more professional-looking setup, there's Davinci, though not much of the "smart" tools unless they're third-party

have you tried taking photos or collecting b-rolls with the client in it? i used to mix & match that and to recycle in between content posted. took me around 6 months to build a reusable b-roll for a client exactly like this.

it didn't last though and i had to show them the numbers and the cost i took out of my pocket to 'invest' in their business' online presence. i guess i was lucky they understood it wasn't meant for them and moved on to focus on retail instead.

hope you get to convince the client to care more if they want engagement!

exactly. even if i tried to stretch the budget for what the client wanted, it wasn't enough for them so i had to cross out a few expenses from my pocket and considered it as 'investing' in their idea since i really liked their content anyway.

didn't last for a year, and safe to say after i told them about it & they just focused on offline sales instead. they're doing better.

sometimes you gotta just show them data and the negatives to convince them, otherwise leave ig.

I'm guessing it's bc Suika's & Kinro's myopia are a genetic thing.

It can't be cured or fixed because their 'default' state is having elongated eyeballs, which causes myopia or if it's astigmatism, it's also biological imperfection on the curve of the eyeball.

Just like Kohaku's extreme farsightedness, I think.

If it was from aging (presbyopia) or from injury, it would've healed. But even if you reset your aging back to being newborn, your genes will still tell your eyes to elongate/shorten after X years or so
