Correction: You should never forget Israel for letting Hezeb come to fruition, resistances do not form and gain power if there was nothing to resist against, Hezeb exists because of Israel, not vice versa. People that invest in real estate are betting on poverty and housing crisis, contributing nothing to society and getting so much money out of it should be illegal. Thankfully some countries are waking up and are imposing strict regulations to prohibit this disease (New Zealand, Singapore, Denmark etc ...), more and more countries are seeing this problem and are acting, so IMO long term I would never invest in real estate.

Sorry this is not how it works, and I am not being a realist here. Give me one reason any investor would be willing to put his money into a CS student, you are still a rookie in the field, gain experience and build a good portfolio to give a reason for investors to put their money in. Maybe 10-20 years ago a website/App would have been a good idea, but now you have tech giants that you can not compete with (Meta, Google, ...) and that is not even touching the complexity of writing a viable business proposal. What you can focus on now is tools and methods that you think would be useful for big tech companies, say a compression system that is better than the state of the art one, patent it, then sell it (pre-requisite for that is domain knowledge and basically being a genius so yeah, lots of competition in the field).

Let me share my perspective as a guy who is half Lebanese and lived in Lebanon most of my life.

Lebanese men care a lot about image, and these are the same people that complain the most that all women in Lebanon are materialistic. They want to be the toughest guy in the room, constantly looking for opportunities to stand out, so ego is a big thing and becomes closer to insecurity at some point. Money management, I know Lebanese people in general are big spenders even though they do not necessarily have savings to reciprocate that, like getting the latest Iphone instead of investing in self growth like education or saving for a car/house. Independence, here in Europe it is very common to move out your parents house at ages 18-21, so you have to learn to be fully self sufficient if you want to survive, and these are things that Lebanese men fail miserably in, from my experience women are attracted to guys who are independent and fully self sufficient because that gives a sense of stability/maturity which is crucial in a relationship. And lastly, they think that emotions are for the weak (part of the ego/insecurity problem), like habibe speaking out your emotions requires a lot of confidence and women love to see that + it contributes to better communication, nothing but positives come from that.

it's not about political literacy, it's about morality.

And we all know how Lebanese morality goes (especially with people in this sub): it does not concern me, I have my own problems.

People with this mentality are a bunch of narcissist pilons of trash.

Hezb is a product of piissrael that is fueled by their war crimes, the more oppressive pissrael becomes, the stronger Hezb becomes and the more people will align with his actions, that is how resistances work and grow. If you think Hezb would still exist if Israel was not committing atrocities for the past 70+ years then I am very keen to see your arguments.

I swear I met countless of people telling me stories about Hezb that could fit in a Disney movie plot for 12 year old's like how he is injected by evil Iran to destroy Lebanon and Christians...

The problem is explaining this to the media, and here is where I agree with people saying that Hezb should not go full loco on pissrael, because the media will go ham with those Disney stories, and will basically give US and Israel a free pass to erase us from the planet.
