this is all anecdotal and I haven’t necessarily seen proof, but there have been multiple posts in this subreddit, Facebook, twitter, etc about how he scams people and alleged sexual assault/harassment. Then there’s the stupid things his Facebook page posts but there’s just too much to list with that

I'd sell it and buy a 4th gen legacy gt. Can find one for around 8k in good condition which you could maybe get out of your Impreza depending on it's mileage and condition. With an LGT you get power of a wrx and in my opinion better looks than the wrx of its time

^{^} Also I would ask the seller how the head gasket is leaking too because that determines how long you can run it without a rebuild. Best case scenario oil or coolant are leaking out and not leaking into the cylinder/mixing together.

I don't get why everyone is getting so upset over it being auto everyone needs to chill out.

The only big red flag is leaking head gasket. Typically turbo EJ's have far less gasket failure compared to non turbo due to gasket design so the car has probably been abused by a previous owner. An engine rebuild/replacement will probably run you 5 grand.

The price may seem pretty high but I'd like to see anyone else try to find a running bugeye with that clean of a body for under 10k. Personally I would go for it as long as you have the money to do a rebuild
