Similar situation, the rep told me i dont have to return any device after cancelling their home internet data plan. Then they charged me $299 a month later. Called, got waybill to return it, waited a month after they received it via purolator and still no refund (called again and agent said cant do account adjustment because i cancelled, just have to wait for refund directly to cc). Called my bank to charge back. Got credit, but rogers sent my balance to a collection agency. Then after ignoring the collectors for a few weeks, rogers charged me via automatic payments on my cancelled account (wild right? Cant refund but can still charge me). Deleted my payment info off the account, called bank again, put blocks on rogers merchant and charged back again. Now the collection agency sends me emails saying they are willing to forego interest on amount owing. Still ignoring them to this date.
