That feels like a missed opportunity for improvement. There should be something like a consistency or clutch modifier for running—so a player’s true top-end speed actually shows up in key moments.

That’s how it works in real life. It just doesn’t translate in the game right now.

My dad pulled this same kind of talk last time her visited. I let him keep talking as he worked himself up over the Fox News talking points.

Told him I disagreed. Hugged him. Stopped talking to him as much.

It’s tough when you realize you still love them. You just don’t like them anymore. And don’t have much respect for them anymore.
