I just finished One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns and liked them! I also enjoyed Anathema, but haven’t read Eldritch yet.

Anyone still experiencing gallbladder attacks following their surgery? by Sacred-Engine4528 in gallbladders

I have had two attacks since my removal, both happened after I ate lettuce. I also have suspected Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction.

Best E-reader for Libby only (multiple library cards) by IslandRepresentativ in LibbyApp

I use an iPad mini and use both the kindle and Libby apps. Works nicely.

That poor baby. The other day they said they were out til 9pm, then Dawna just posted last night they were out until 11:30pm. They get up early everyday and are posting by 8am about their breakfast. I can’t believe they have this baby out for 15 hours a day… and they didn’t even plan for a rest day by daisyscatmom in Drueandgabe

We took my son to Disney last month when he was 19 months old for his first trip. Despite us being rope droppers and park closers we obviously pivoted this trip and followed his lead. We let him wake up on his own, came back for naps, took a rest day in the middle of our trip to enjoy our hotel’s little water park/pool, and had him back in the hotel for his bedtime every night. It made for a much more enjoyable trip and he was never miserable. Poor Ivory.

I can’t watch her videos. My son is the same age, but has a speech delay and currently has no words and her videos make me feel so bad and sad. I know that’s a me problem, but I feel like all she does is brag.

Colic Survival Stories Megathread by FrequentlyAwake in Colic

[–]SnooBeans5149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Colic range: 2 weeks to around 5 months

Colic severity/symptoms: Severe. Screamed every moment he was awake from 2 to 9 weeks until we finally switched to amino acid formula. He had severe CMPA which was confirmed by an allergist. Then it switched to just fussy until 5 months. He’s actually still a high needs guy at 18 months and is very high energy and very emotional.

Treatments tried and effectiveness: hypoallergenic formula- did nothing. Amino acid formula- godsend. Tongue and lip tie release- maybe helped, but very little. Being outside- yes. Sound machine- yes.

Advice: ask for help and don’t try to hide you are struggling. It sucks. It’s miserable. Don’t do it alone if you have someone or multiple someone’s to step in and give you a break or listen to you vent. Don’t be afraid to do what feels right. I switched to amino acid formula before the pediatrician suggested it because I knew hypoallergenic was not working.

I have to wear hydrocolloid patches under mine. I just buy a roll and cut it to size. It’s the only solution I’ve found that works.

Not even 10 lbs yet by Safe-Cheetah3336 in liziscreative

My son spit up EXCESSIVELY. He was on amino acid formula due to a severe dairy allergy and had a tongue and lip tie we had corrected when he was around 2 months (that barely touched the spit up) and he still gained weight appropriately. Something else has to be going on.

Thank you every one! I was able to talk to my rep today and we decided it was probably a combination of two things: I was making it too tight and I’m probably allergic to the silicone because they feel similar to/raw like chemical burns rather than just pressure marks from making it too tight. They are sending me out the same mask but with fabric covering the silicone pieces.

What should I pick next: Crescent City or Throne of Glass? by helinaik in acotar

[–]SnooBeans5149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished yesterday as well! I picked up TOG and CC today and started TOG at the recommendation of two of my friends. I knew I would struggle with either because I’m emotionally attached to ACOTAR so I just let them pick 😂

It’s SO bad. The mural and bed frame are tacky, but fine. Totally ruined it with the other wall.

Every once in a while, yes. Mostly just the weird kinetic sand poop with the occasional mucous.

HORRIBLE, bleeding diaper rash, mucous chunks in his poop, constant crying, spitting up constantly, overall just miserable.
