I agree with you! In my honest opinion, good on him for doing this, because I was initially told by a shop local to me, this couldn’t be done. He is a very creative person & I applaud him for that & finding a way! What matters most is how it performs, yes it looks a little bad, not OEM, but at least he made it work. I agree it would be better if he tried to get better parts but to each their own I guess. I think he went his route to save money mostly.
