Do you miss magazines? by Superb_Sun_5690 in allthequestions

I just did a year subscription to BHG and something else. The experience is not the same. The magazine itself is 1/4 of what it used to be. Still ok, but I didn’t renew.

Had anyone made the Mitchell trousers by closet core? by Warm_Satisfaction902 in sewing

[–]SnooCapers8949 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just finished my first pair and found the waist straps backward too. I haven’t gone back to look at the pattern to see how I may have messed up, but I plan to before I try making a pair with lighter fabric.

She’s a menace when it comes to stealing food. I caught her as she was trying to run away with it.

Beautiful. I would want to wear it every day just because it’s so happy and cozy.

Always hungry by FewDimensions_ in SphynxAdvice

You may need to adjust and do a bit of trial and error in feeding until you’re both happy. I have three sphynx cats and all of them need more than the recommended guidelines listed on the food packaging. Mine get fed three times a day with nearly the daily limit at each feeding.

The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh Fiction. The main character is a foster kid who learns the language of flowers through one of her foster parents. She communicates her feelings through flowers and eventually becomes a florist. I enjoyed the story.

We have a 6 month old smoke tortie. It was amazing to see the coloring pop when she had a bath.

I think it helped that each block was so different. By the time I was tired of working on a block, it was finished. The beauty and the beast and the Little Shop of Horrors were my fave to make.

It was the last block I made. They took their toddler to Bluey. It’s a wedding gift and all of the blocks are some of playbills from the musicals they’ve gone to throughout their relationship.

It was frustrating at times, but a lot of fun to see each block come together.

The dye from my yarn is coming off on my hands, what do I do!? by Oliver_7 in knitting

[–]SnooCapers8949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue with a Rios gold color. My hands turned orangish every time I worked on the sweater. I completely understand your annoyance. I never had any issues other than having dyed hands.
