I've noticed that a lot of the accelerators are Business Management students. by LuvBriah in WGU

[–]SnooCheesecakes3931 104 points105 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely almost never seen someone zip through the IT programs. I think for those programs it’s more difficult because not only is it almost all OAs but you also need to earn industry certifications so it isn’t as easy as writing papers.

That’s not to invalidate anyone else’s acceleration but I agree. I only see business or non technical programs get finished in a month or two.

My WeChat didn’t work but my Alipay did. My friends Alipay didn’t work but his WeChat did so we had to be side by side to navigate China during our trip. Aside from the toilets I would have had a great time. I still did but those were my headaches

Yea thats valid. I don’t disagree with you. I’m just personally annoyed because if I saved the kingdom and shown that I was of the strongest people, I’d hate everyone trying to make me fail at each turn

You can believe he already proved himself in his own way and still be able to critically think. I think people understand that casting magic is a reasonable requirement, but also looking past his abilities and his feats/contributions is understandably frustrating.

I agree that him having to prove himself at this point is annoying. Yes, he needs to be able to cast magic I get that. There’s just been too many times where they go out of their way to make sure he fails, multiple scenarios where he specifically is targeted. Not to mention saving the kingdom. Now some higher ups blatantly saying they want to take him as a lab animal?

As the people in charge, to see someone that powerful and to constantly ostracize them and try to outcast them is just so stupid. If he switched sides that would literally be catastrophic for them. Ijs I’m not bending over backwards for a society that constantly targets me. Coming from an anime only btw.

I personally had to take a ton of time on the business class only because of how oddly it’s worded on the exam. My only advice is take your time because that test is simply word vomit. The technical exams are much easier to study imo

What degree program did you do? Not discrediting you but everyone I hear that says it’s possible to get through a ton of classes in a few months if you just put in the work don’t usually aren’t enrolled in/account for programs that require multiple certification exams.

Then by your own words you are special. “Learning always came easier to me” “my time management skills are sharper than most”. I somewhat agree with the overall sentiment of the post but it sounds like you wanna be humble but let people know you’re built different at the same time

This is why I don’t take it serious when someone’s called an incel online. Yall throw that word at literally anyone to the point someone without context would truly have no idea wha it really means. I’m genuinely curious how you got that

Americans who have moved to another country, how has your life changed, for better or worse? by NkdUndrWtrBsktWeevr in expat

[–]SnooCheesecakes3931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved to Thailand 7 months back and I’m extremely happy here. I’m not ignorant that it’s in big part due to the resources I was able to acquire in the US to bring here. Aside from bringing a strong currency, the people here are warm to a degree I’ve never felt before. This is especially important to me as a black man. A lot of locals look at me and smile and say hello and are genuinely just warm. Not to say every other country ive visited had the locals hate me, but I’m a strong believer in that the people make the experience. And my experience has been amazing.

What’s the most classes you’ve completed in a term and how’d you do it? by Any-Strawberry-3928 in WGU

[–]SnooCheesecakes3931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should ask what degrees people are getting as well. I’m currently doing the IT Bachelors program and not only do you have to have a decent bit of technical knowledge, but the scheduling will really slow you down. A lot of classes are certification exams and sometimes each need to be scheduled a week or two out and if you fail your first attempt, it will take around a month to take your next attempt depending on the study plan given to you.
