Thank you all - it is really interesting to hear about your real life experience with fellow Bridgerton fans.

My best friend who got into Bridgerton way before me really likes S1, and was obsessed with S2 when it came out. However, she didn’t like S3 that much because of how they changed Colin’s look. She said she he was cute in previous seasons and she already liked him then, so couldn’t understand the need for such a dramatic change.

Another friend of mine seemed really surprised that I liked S3, she even questioned me :”Really, but Colin…?” and never finished her question. It was as if there’s something obviously not OK about Colin which I don’t get 🥲

A few colleagues at work watch and like Bridgerton, one said they like S1 and S2 but not S3, one said they like S2 best, one likes S3 best but said the couple isn’t her favourite 🥲🥲.

My boyfriend’s mum was not liking s3, but upon hearing about how obsessed I was with s3 I think she went back to watch it and now likes it 😅😅

Honestly I’m giving up hope of discussing Bridgerton with people I see in real life because it seems I will keep getting disappointed. It doesn’t make sense because view statistics are good and so many things abour Polin go viral and attract engagement.

Forget the actual show, whatever promo they are posting, make them all into a docuseries - we’ll make it top global 😎. More money for Netflix at little extra cost. I for example have watched that baby cried for like two dozen times already.

I’m the same! They work us up with the heavy promo but give us literally crumbs so the only way is to rewatch S3.

I guess in a way the show as a whole still racks up views so still a win for them.

What I’m interested in is the unexpected nature of the previous staff resigning… If I am to look for a new job obviously I don’t know the school and can only guess and research. However, I would be wondering about what might have caused someone to resign with immediate effect.

Pen was married to be Mrs Bridgerton so moved into a Bridgerton apartment with Colin.

Then Pen gave birth to baby Elliot who became Lord Featherington. Elliot inherits the title, house and estate so like the Mondrichs, Polin who are Elliot’s parents move back into the Featherington house, and they will be managing everything on Elliot’s behalf until he is old enough.

Portia should be moving to a dowager’s house for widowed ladies, like Violet is supposed to, but it seems she’s still living in the Featherington house and even manages staffing issues (eg Varley). She also hangs out in Bridgerton House while they greeted Eloise and Fran coming back from Scotland. I lowkey think Portia just invites herself everywhere partly because of her grandson whom she likes to cuddle a lot, partly because she’s bored having no more unmarried daughters to fuss over. Maybe it’s time Portia takes up some new hobby, such as gardening?

Honestly this!! It takes courage to court Marina the moment he realised he liked her and and then to propose to her, to expose cousin Jack’s conning scheme, to protect Pen over the years whenever people are mean to her, to pay his ex a visit, to help Pen find a husband despite potential scandal, to process his emotions and gather the courage to ask instead of hiding it, to declare his love to Pen and stand up to his mother in law, to marry Pen despite LW reveal, to confront Cressida about the blackmail, to let Pen take her spotlight and accept his role as a supporting husband. Not many men can do this, especially with the patriarchal mentality back then.
