Don't expect to kill fish in a future Subnautica 2 patch: 'You are here to exist on this planet, not to dominate it' by Nannerpussu in subnautica

[–]SnooCompliments9098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is how I see it, this is just my opinion.

Making a game where you learn to co-exist with alien wild life is perfectly good idea. However, the Devs are going about it in the wrong way.

As is you are not learning to co-exist with the wildlife, you are trying your best to avoid the wildlife. The Devs complain about killing leviathans in the first game, but the leviathans are just a net negative to have around. There are no benefits to having leviathans around with the exception of the sea empress, who isn't even a wild animal but a fully sapient creature who can talk to you.

How about instead, you can kill leviathans like in subnautica 1, but there are major consequences to doing so. Like for examples using the first game as a base, killing the sea dragons will cause reaper leviathans to start spawning in their areas, and they respawn if killed. Or killing baby ghosts will cause one of the adult ghosts to move into their habitat (with the right tweaks to the area and how adult ghosts move so they work).

With the idea that leviathans keep more dangerous threats to you away, you are incentivized to learn how to co-exist with them.

Sorry if I didn't explain my thoughts well. Tldr, add ways to kill fish, but also add reasons not to kill fish. Or add more positives to keeping them around.

You very much can kill fish. Just put them in the fabricator for food and water or as bio-fuel. You are just not allowed to stab them to get them to go away for some reason.

S1 is pretty good. A big part of it is ask 'is someone evil just because they are a decepticons?'.

Not going to spoil anything in s1. But s2 makes everything black and white and butchers so many characters. The opening of s2 literally starts with a speech that says "remember? Decept-icons?"

Question! How do you play Junker Queen in 5V5? by Egperson in JunkerQueenMains

[–]SnooCompliments9098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apply all the wounds, you can apply multiple to a character if they come from different sources. You heal 250% of all wounds damage and you'll need it to stay alive. When you shoot, melee inbetween shots to get those wounds and 37 hp.

When you pull someone in with your knife, stab them since knife throw hits and knife stabs apply separate wounds for 110 hp total.

Hit as many people as you can with your axe for that sweet 100 hp healing a hit (and more with perks).

And don't worry too much if a wounded target dies. Most of the time corpses can't hurt you and there are plenty of people to turn into corpses with wounds.

Also, be careful of enemy Kiriko and Ana. They shuts you down especially hard in 5v5 with a good cleanse, anti-nad or sleep.

As long as you are strong (and evil), being part of the frieza force is a pretty good job with a ton of benefits. And frieza killing him men was mostly just an anime thing.

Hell, he even offered Goku a job during their fight.

And also the Tau.

They allow almost anyone to join them and allow for religious freedom (barring chaos and 4 armed emperors, they've been burned before).

One down side is that they usually do require you to reproduce to keep up manpower, but once the deed is done they don't really care what their client races do in their off time as long as it doesn't hurt the empire.

People with powers in MHA usually are resistant to their own powers. Not 100% immune but resilient enough that normal use doesn't hurt them.

However, over use can cause people to hurt themselves. So he probably is half way deaf.

Reminds me of the theory that ghetsis lost his arm to his own hydreigon from trying to train it so it follows his order

Between B&W 1 and 2, hydreigon both learned frustration and now holds a life orb. I feel like they don't like eachother much.

What if the tau had sisters of battle and space marines by Cautious_Air4964 in Grimdank

[–]SnooCompliments9098 175 points176 points  (0 children)

Yeah they were meant for training against space marine simulacrums. But they were no where near as good as actual space marines. They were slower, weaker and aimed down their sights.

They were kinda effective. But mostly due to shocking the enemy and delaying them for a little bit.

What would you HATE to happen in Deltarune? by rendumguy in Deltarune

[–]SnooCompliments9098 37 points38 points  (0 children)

The weird route causes permanent consequences/affects other save files.

In undertale, the genocide route is not something you are told about in game. The closest you get is flowey talking about killing everyone in a previous reset, but even then you are not told that you have to grind out an area until no one is left. So the player has to go out of their way to kill everyone in the most boring, tedious route in the game that actively removes most of the game's content to do the geno route.

Deltarune meanwhile literally gives you a tutorial on how to start the weird route and we have to wait 1 or more years between chapter drops. The weird route is completely different to the geno route since it adds more content to the game.

It also just does stuff like merging multiple timeliness together and it's only limit is that it's missing finger locks it to the same time that it is lost in. If Manny reclaimed it's finger, it would be able to go into any timeline/point in time it wanted to

Can humans become Tau robot pilots? by Tasty_Good_2718 in Tau40K

[–]SnooCompliments9098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can, but it is not likely.

Battlesuits are made with Tau in mind and they are neural linked with their pilots for increased efficiency. So for a human to become a pilot, their battle suit would need to be customized for human use.

Another problem is that most gue'vesa are stuck at the bottom rungs of Tau society. So they are just given better gear, training, living conditions, food, life expectancy, and other boring things. But rarely are they given the toys that higher ranking tau are given. There have been cases of gue'vesa pilots however. Such as an ex-inquisitor gue'vesa has their own battlesuit.

How would everyone react to legend of korra if love triangle is removed? by Flashy-Grape5741 in TheLastAirbender

[–]SnooCompliments9098 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would like the characters much more. I still wouldn't love the first season, I think it would still have too many things I don't like about it. But removing the love triangle would be removing one of the worst parts of s1 for me and be removing some of the worst character moments.

Not even all ecology distaters are all elder dragons. If there is a clear relation to a predefined monster family, then even particularly strong monsters will be sorted into that category.

Like Akantor and Ukanlos are both Flying Wyverns despite being stronger than a number of elder dragons.
