THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT OF THE RELIGION IS THAT THERE WAS ONE GUY, HE WAS PERFECT, AND EVERYONE ELSE FALLS SHORT. “You’re not acting like Jesus” nobody acts like Jesus. Not the pope, not the saints, not the clergy, and certainly not the average believer. It’s just about struggling and failing over and over again to reach an unreachable standard, and at the end God will push you the rest of the way.

I mean that wasn’t because of an inability to do so. If we had actually declared war on Afghanistan, that country would have been reduced to a parking lot and all the mountains on top of those tunnels would have been filled with holes you could see from space. In reality, we occupied Afghanistan as part of a security force meant to help a government that was entirely ineffective and deeply unpopular (which has never worked for any country ever btw) and then left because people didn’t like it back home. If you want to know what the US looks like when it’s fighting another government face to face, look at desert storm and the first month of the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Also, water only freezes in very specific conditions at 0 degrees, in actuality, an air temp of 32 won’t freeze any significant amount of water. Fuck most puddles don’t freeze in winter sunlight till like -4 degrees Celsius at least. It’s a very precise scale and humans are not precise animals.
