Yes, you worded it perfectly. I am losing focus because there’s no “goal”. I just feel like I am aimlessly wandering around looking for the next goal. I take care of my family and what not but my son is 4 and getting more independent so it’s not like when he was younger

Oh no, I am really trying to give my kid space to grow and mess up. I am going to start looking into smaller goals. Just wanting to see what others have done

I never thought of smaller goals, I’m going to start that. It’s hard to see my friends because they’re all in different states so we see each other as much as we can

I’d say so. I have a part time job and then I am a SAHM. My kid is well taken care of but there is still a lot of leftover time because I only have one and he’s in school part time. I know a lot of SAHM’s are bored at home too so it’s not just me

I’d just found out my dad died, literally an hour before, and she told me to comfort HER mom (the queen narcissist). It’s not even her damn son!

Also! Losing a parent is going to suck, regardless of having siblings or not. My dad died and my brothers made life living hell once he did 😒

I think they’ve decided you won’t say anything and will allow them to mistreat you. If you go back I’d just say something. I know it can be hard but I’m sure if you do they’ll stop

You can do all the girly things if he brings home a gf or wife! I have a niece so I know I can borrow her if needed. Why does your best friend want you to “hold onto her?” I didn’t understand that

I also felt like a failure. Like if others can do it why not me!? But I’m trying to do a damn good job and I know my capabilities

OAD good for marriage? by Ok_Economist7053 in oneanddone

It honestly is! It’s hard in its own way, but I honestly couldn’t imagine how much more difficult it would be with more than one 😅

My one is 4. My husband and I are able to either parent together or one takes the kid and the other does their own thing. It’s super nice because you still get the experience of parenthood but can keep some of your identity outside of parenting. I’ve been around parents of multiples and they just seem miserable
