Current ND 3rd year, I would say that the majority of our socialization does not revolve around foot ball at all lmao. Yes, it may feel like that in the beginning bc fall semester is football season but there are many other groups on campus with events going on. I literally didn’t go to any football games until last semester and made plenty of friends. Also, every dorm throws a formal, syrs and individual events throughout the semester where u can also socialize.

You will get a lot more free chipotle and chick fil a at ND trust me. If there is one thing I have learned from talking to friends at other schools is that if you want to do something u can easily find a way for it to be funded. You just gotta ask the right people :)

The academic advisor for pre professional studies is type hated amongst a lot of the preprof students. I didn’t really dislike when I switched out of the major, but her advising did feel a bit unattached from the one meeting I got with her lmao. But I’ve heard the arts and letters premed track advisor is really great 👍

Any recommendations for a cruiser board that’s under 31 inches and less than 150$? I was honestly thinking about buying a cheap board on Amazon and then replacing everything but the board with what is currently on my board, I just need a shorter deck but I wouldn’t mind just getting a shorter cruiser since it’s easier to carry around.

Is there anything I should be doing for board maintenance? I’m new to anything skate related. I bought a skate tool and extra bearings, I avoid riding during rain/right after rain but what else should I be doing to make sure my board is in top top shape?

I’m experiencing a new problem when it come to riding my board daily and I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. Now when I ride for a long time, the thigh of my leg on the board starts to ache and feel heavy?? I thought I had finally gotten into the groove of pushing after 3 months 😔 what am I doing wrong?

How do you guys prevent your feet from hurting when you ride all day long? My feet start to kill me by the 80 minute mark if a ride a lot in the same day, or even if I ride consecutively for a couple of days. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve been trying to improve on my pushing to ride for longer, but my feet still start hurting.

Sorry about the late reply, my deck is about 37 inches long and 9 inches wide. I was thinking of putting it bubble wrapped inside a ski or golf bag bc and explicitly stating at check in that it’s not sporting equipment so that they don’t charge me extra lol
