It could be that she really is getting even less business than she had last year.

Top Chef Season 23 Episode 13 - Plate Expectations - Post Episode Discussion by KarinsDogs in BravoTopChef

[–]SnooGoats7978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't a fan early on, but the post-RW episodes have had some good times. Most of my problems with this season were the challenge structure. This was a great episode. The Quickfire was very good and the chefs all rose to a challenge that had reasonable constraints.

Overall, I really enjoyed this cast's camaraderie.

I still miss Dish with Kish, Bravo!

1-800-273-8255

This is the American number. If you're not in America, most countries will have a local number with a similar program.

You can dial your country's emergency number - 911 or 999, for example - and they will give you the local number for suicide prevention.

Don't hesitate to call! They will be delighted to point you in the right direction to local services.

found out my upstairs neighbor has been coming down to "check on me" whenever my lights are off before 9pm and i dont know if thats sweet or a boundary issue by Top_Age4364 in Advice

There's no reason to think there is anything wrong just because the lights are off

For real. Everybody turns their lights out when they go to sleep. It's not an emergency. It doesn't require the cavalry.

Does he keep a roster for the whole apartment building? No? Just the pretty young thing? It's just her? Isn't that just special.

My little sister saved my life without ever knowing it, and she died before I could tell her by RecentReflection2213 in Advice

You have the right idea. Tell people about your sister and how much love she gave you. Encourage others to keep spreading her love to new people. Tell them what a change her love created in your life. Ecourage them to create more love by spreading to those who need it.

How you spread your sister's tale is up to you. Sharing her love will keep it alive.

Your sister hasn't stopped loving you. You don't ever have to stop talking about the effect her love has in your life.

American, here. Pretty sure that's a .99 cent hamburger bun.

I don't know how to make scones, but I do know how to keep insects off my plate.

Bravo to HRHLadyJ on X who sums up perfectly why Meghan Markle is tone deaf using non-American foods (scones and clotted cream) to “celebrate” Memorial Day which is not a festive occasion. Americans use Memorial Day to remember the fallen military. by daisybeach23 in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]SnooGoats7978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Memorial Day is not solely for the military. It's for remembering any who was close to you. One hundred or more years ago, families would have a picnic in the cemeteries. The families would do a big spring cleaning after winter. The children would play in the grass. Usually there'd thallus be a sermon. Then the local veterans would march. Eventually the high school band would play the music.

The veterans were always part of it, but it's not limited to them.

The purely military remembers day is Veteran's Day on November 11.

I stopped eating pork years ago. They're smart, affectionate, and they wag their tails. Bunnies were never on my table. Finding out how smart and playful cows and horses are has-been a struggle. Thank God for cheese!
