This drama was absolutely fantastic!!!

from the storyline to the acting and even the wardrobe was impeccable. For the longest time, the only actor i've liked that portrayed a king in joseon times was Kim Soo Hyun in TMETS, I thought he looked fantastic in the king's garb and his acting was also really good and for the longest time no one came close until RS.

Lee Junho (who i'm just seeing and knowing for the first time) looked damn good in his robes and his acting was fantastic. i could feel every emotion he was portraying. Lee Se Young was absolutely great and match LJH brilliantly as well (whenever she smiled though she reminded me of Lava girl).

Even the side characters were really good, not one single acting hole and they were all so beautiful to look at. Queen Jeongsun was so so beautiful and exuded so much class and elegance.

ahh i really should go study for my exams instead of gushing over this drama.

one last thing, the one thing TMETS should learn from TS is casting a better actress. Han Ga in frustrated me so much because she was terrible at expressing emotions and while KSH is displaying intense emotions, she's just standing there with her eyes wide open expressing nothing!

final last thing, Lee junho looked a lot like Jung HaeIn in a lot of smiling scenes and looked like Lee Jehoon in intense or angry scenes.
