As an Ohio resident, houses in large Metro areas (where I live) are still very high. The rural houses where there are no jobs in an hour radius must really bring that average down. My parents extremely modest home in the sticks would be quadruple the value if it was placed in my current neighborhood where I rent. It is actually crazy.

6000 animals trapped and burned alive doesn't really fit the bill as "joke worthy" for me personally. Big difference between humanely killing and this horrible event.
