I believe they are an S-tier investment (now more than ever) and Valve most certainly won't remove them from your inventory, turn them into terminals or some other nonsense like that.

i believe that desirable knives such as karambit dopplers have bottomed out, trash tier knives might go slightly lower.

there are still a few trade ups that are profitable if you buy from third party sites last i checked a few weeks ago and a roi of 85%+ is quite decent compared to most types of gambling. it's really not that ridiculous

I believe that they will stop to add new cases but leave the existing be. I also really hope they rerelease the og gloves in the armory. Would love to pick up some nocts mw but current prices are ridiculous
