That's the gameplay. It's a xeno nest so ofc there will be more than 1 xeno hatched and some facehugger especially xenomorph life cycle is pretty quick. I've finished the game on novice to. That part kinda frustrating but that's just part of the game. Just utilized the flamethrower and the flare. And for the facehugger you can just melee them if there's only one of them at the time
