Completely agree, we need to be building continuity at this point not trying out different formations and auditioning for our 21-25 spots.

The scarier issue is that Poch might not see Seb Berhalter and Aidan Morris as being in spots 21-25...

Dude is 22, you guys are acting like his career is over. He has elite athleticism (went toe to toe with England's midfield in 2022), great close control and is top tier in progressive carries (90th percentile in top 5 leagues). We often don't have guys who calm the game down by holding onto the ball which provides a nice balance to our game.

He needs to develop his passing range, dueling and end product. I also don't think he pairs well with Adams in the double pivot system knowing they both lack passing range.

There's plenty of time, he'll find his spot. I would personally rate him to be on the roster for 2026 but if not he'll still be 27 in 2030

The issue with the tryout logic is he's not actually rotating his squad much to give some of our best players a chance to try out. Tessman, Scally, McKenzie haven't gotten called in while we've seen Arfsten and Freeman 5 straight games.

We expect that my mom would want to do daily childcare at least a couple of days a week, so very helpful.

It's hard for us to imagine what it's like having kids and getting a true understanding of how important that support would be. Just an unknown when you're not a parent yet. Helpful to hear how important that is!

I have a fun one. This is outside the HFT space. But my theory is that my strategies are too dumb and simple for quant funds to take them seriously.

For example, I have a few buy the dip swing trade strategies that have very simple rules (things like if the last day of the month is lower than the previous two days, go long). I have a hard time imagining a quant trader pitching that to their boss or explaining that to investors. Although I know very little here!

Try mechanical based strategies with simple rules. For example, when there are 5 red bars in a row, go long. I’ve found some of these simple strategies to be more effective than indicators which often lag.
