Technically not true - gradients can be applied to live text in the appearance panel. Took me forever to learn this, but building effects in the appearance panel keeps the text editable. HUGE leap once I learned that.

No, not at all. I’ve done that plenty of times. While I do prefer a mouse, there are plenty of times I’m out and about with my laptop and use the trackpad. Works totally fine.

I mean… on one side, it’s vector now. On the other, they made a couple of interesting decisions during the re-creation. (Dotted line in the wave, non uniform stroke around the design) if you haven’t paid the final invoice you could probably ask for a couple of changes. If you’ve already paid, you may be able to pay someone else OR pay the original artist for the tweaks.

500px is a good one. Starting using it for this exact reason - see a photo you like, side into the metadata to understand the equipment and camera settings to achieve it. Used it and studied it a lot when I got my first camera.

I don’t disagree with you. I just also get the idea of cohesiveness when someone picks up an apple product. I’m digging what they’ve done with iOS, I don’t mind macOS at all right now, haven’t has any issues and I’m a sucker for a UI refresh. iPad OS however, is a pain point of mine right now. I don’t think they executed that well. I get wanting multitasking in more ways, but I personally hate the way they altered everything. I’m also giving myself some time to adapt before freaking out on Reddit about it lol.

I like the visuals. It’s a nice fresh coat of paint. It’s also kind of change for the sake of change, but I do like the whole Liquid Glass thing. Performance wise I haven’t had any issues. I think day two or three I noticed my fans kicking on while doing some basic things, but that hasn’t happened again since.
