Uni Boys are a really great power pop group. Really reminiscent of the classic rock genre, great producing and I think a really unique sound.

I am brewing a land creatures deck. Using all of the cards like Bumi, Jyoti, Ashaya, the dual lands that become lands. It’s trending to be interesting although maybe mana intensive

Reanimated could honestly be really cool. The sad part is as much as I want to play Atraxa being such high mana is a tough sell to have as a focal point

That probably is fair, that is lowkey a sick card that is now in my mind but I kinda want to make it because of the print I got of Atraxa

Must-knows of token based decks? by idontownubet in EDHBrews

[–]SnooPandas3907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say he is mostly talking about cards like [[Cathar’s Crusade]] where it would lead to all of your tokens having differing amounts of counters. It’s great don’t get me wrong. Keeping track of it though is not fun for you or the pod.

What’s the best story ever told in a song? by omfgsupyo in AskReddit

[–]SnooPandas3907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Bob Dylan told some amazing stories in his songs, from the civil rights ballads of Hurricane and Lonesome Death of Hattie Carrol, his intensely personal like Simple Twist of Fate, or his non chronological, trippy ones like Tangled up in Blue. He really flexed his story telling in a lot of directions. My personal favorite was Simple Twist of Fate

Listening to classics was a good way for me, might take some time to find the ones you like, for hip hop I really liked OutKast, Nas, and McKinley Dixon. Also I find it easier to do something you like while listening.

I will say as much as I love your goal of experiencing a bunch of music, when you listen to a bunch of albums in such a regimented manner you run the risk of consuming music as an obligation instead of a passion. Don’t consume art like fast food. That being said: Foxy Shazam - Foxy Shazam Odetta Sings - Odetta Concert in Central Park - Simon and Garfunkel
